So let me get this straight: his "reward" for hitting the members goal is throwing another begathon where his paypigs will have the honor of helping him get to some no doubt asinine $1000 tips goal AND they get to watch him eat again?! WOW DOOD
 
Ever thought if Phil wonders what he is really "offering" his viewers with his streams. Is that his cool gameplay? His comment about the game?

He offers nothing unique, and what he is trying to do he does exceptionally badly.

I’d say a mixture of his narcissistic attitude and his early success on YouTube contributes him having the mindset he has now. When in reality, his only attraction was the fact that he pumped out videos of new releases as quick as possible back in the day.

Phil thinks that because he was well known/right once, it means he is ALWAYS right when that’s a stupid mindset to have. However he does offer a unique thing, he’s the only “businessman” I know that claims he is successful despite filing bankruptcy. He is the only person who claims he is secure with his job but has a fundraiser every 3 weeks. He is the only person (that I know of) who has wheelchairs pay him to dress up like SBM picked his outfit for the day.

There’s plenty more I’m sure others could add but Phil’s unique but not for any good reason and he’s unable to self reflect on himself to improve. How can Phil wake up and look in the mirror and think he’s good? I don’t have a fucking clue. If I woke up and saw I was Phil Burnell, I’d neck myself.

But this is DSP, so this kind of “robbery at high noon”-tier fundraisers is just par for the course for the goutsphere.

Boy, I can’t hear how DSP will review the food he’ll shove down his throat... Will it be “flavorful”?! Or “Full of flavor”?!?

Well that won't help because whenever he gets taught a new word he always ends up using it wrong. And you can tell that he learned a new word because he keeps repeating it over and over, he either saw it as the Word of the Day on his boomer calendar or he saw one of us use it here. And speaking of him repeating himself, I just finished watching An1337's restream archive and this CoD stream is already almost indistinguishable from all his other CoD streams. Lheg! I shot him 5-6-7 times and he didn't die! I shot first and I still died first! Bad netcode dood! Invisible enemy! He didn't render on my screen! etc.

Hell let Loose or Post Scriptum would be more enjoyable for us because coordination by voice chat is basically mandatory in this games. Plus they are quiet complex, especially the tanks and At guns

Psychonauts 2 is very enjoyable. I was already interested in this game before Phil played it, but sometimes I decide to try some of the other games Phil played, because I also have "exclusive" access to Game Pass. "The Last Stop" was eh... Not so great.

I feel the same. I was disappointed when he took CoD out of the rotation, because it always resulted in a decent amount of salt, but it's getting rather stale now.

Phil is a living warning against social isolation and hermitdom.

Now don’t get me wrong, he is a pretty stupid fuck, but that’s not the biggest reason he’s vocabulary is so stunted.

(His food reviews for example: Either the food is “flavorful and robust” and “awesome and full of flavor” or it’s “shitty bland and salty”. His game reviews likewise use the same dozen of words constantly.)

Humans are social animals, and when someone like DSP literally cuts off any human contact for a decade (except for his soulmaidmom who seems to be gone most of the time) their vocabulary and thought processes either degenerate or are stunted and forever stuck at the same level.

Try looking up a DSP video while he was still in Connecticut. Despite DSP being a dumb tard barely out of his teens then, you’ll notice a difference in how he talks and the variety of language and words he uses.
 
Well, I quit a lot in the B4B beta. Kept setting up 1 v 4s and that shit's just not very fun for anyone, I'm afraid. In my experience alphas or betas have a higher ragequit turnout. People just aren't invested enough to care, lag might be terrible, matchmaking can be unhinged, the aforementioned 1 v 4s come to mind... If you just want to have a couple good matches, you're unlikely to stick with the crappy ones.

Regarding Psychonaughts, Phil's whole god damn rotation has been nothing but back to back kid games for a good long while, with the ocassional exception. Philip, you're a purveyor of salt and goldus. Your 10 active chatters should tell you all you need to know about how little people care for coming in to discuss what type of tendies mham nuked for you tonight.

People just don't give a shit when you play games made for children because even you can incompetently bumble your way through them. If he doesn't do games with staying power regardless of age, namely fighting games, strategy and action, or he doesn't change it up and do something fun like mmos, among us or the like, his numbers are only gonna keep dwindling. I'd watch the fuck out of a Strive/Virtua Fighter/Street Fighter ranked climb, so of course Phil would never do that. Phil's tough to watch even with restreamers nowadays. It's very telling that almost nobody here finds commenting on his gameplay interesting any more. Honestly, Tut may have made him dance like a monkey, but by just getting him to whore out and become extremely complacent, OIC is basically burying his career, albeit in the dullest way possible. This dumpster fire is legit unwatchable with the hour long prestreams, the built in hour of breaks, and the massive stalling.

Doesn't matter. If he doesn't hit the the tips goal "alotapeepul" will just ask for a marathon stream to give him 5x the money they didn't give him in the first place. And it all works out because that gives him and "muh mom...err..muh wife" *thumb pointed back at the door* a chance to try this new Chinese place they had been seeing on door dash for the last 2 weeks and the best part is that you, the viewer, gets to pay for it and watch (and hear) him eat it.
