So this might be a bit long but I watched Phil fly over Seattle and his house, and it was really disturbing.
Phil clearly had no idea what was in Seattle. The only thing he recognized was the space needle, which anyone could recognize. Phil was trying to find the science center, he flew directly over it because it is located under the space needle. Phil flew over Climate Change arena, where the Kraken of the NHL will play, didn’t recognize it either. Phil searched in vain for the stadiums that the Seahawks and Mariners play in, but he was searching the wrong area, both of those are on the south side of Seattle in Sodo. It is very clear that Phil has never explored Seattle in his 7+ years he has lived here.
Also, he did not fly over his home whatsoever. Perhaps that was intentional? Phil flew over Tukwila, not Renton. He had no idea at what he was pointing at and saying, “oh look!!”. The only thing he pointed out correctly was the south center mall, which has been renamed to The Commons or something.
Phil was wrong about other things too, the indoor skydiving place is not blue, it is a red building. That is what he crashed into at the end of his stream, not a Wendy’s.
I think that Phil had no idea what he was talking about or doing on the stream but was trying to convince the children who watched that he is a mature, robust adult that knew the Renton/Tukwila area well, but to a real native, he clearly never leaves his home and does not know anything despite living here 7+ years.
