I wonder what Mr. Janke is thinking as he reads this thread. Because i know he is reading this and trying to figure out ways to somehow sue Null out of existence and bring down Kiwifarms. People like him will spend laughable amounts of time removing anything that puts them in a bad light and think the world revolves around them. I wouldn't be surprised he called his Navy Seal buddies to try to decipher every single post on here to get clues on where we all live. Imagine a Navy Seal showing up at your door and screaming at you to not make more posts about his foot fungus, animal boiler daughter. He is probably having the time of his life right now trying to figure out what he can do but will soon find out he is a loser who can't do anything. Doubt any consequences will happen other than his daughter being a permanent embarrassment to him.
Imagine what would happen if this guy was made to be the poster child for the Navy Seals? I'm aware of the bad rap that the U.S. Army gets.

No, just someone who knows what they're doing and isn't buying their DDoS attack like what Vordrak does or what the troons did last month when Byuu faked his death. Most paid for attacks are just flood attacks.
I think he was suggesting it was a mixed attack using multiple modes against different OSI layers, not just a dumb flood of crap. Like attacks against multiple aspects of the webserver, using what looks like actually normal traffic, not triggering filters, but overloading XenForo or some underlying part of the whole server. That's probably why we had the CAPTCHAs earlier, since there was no mechanical way of distinguishing between the attack and legitimate traffic.

I am retarded, does this mean that it is more likely that this attack came from an organisation on or close to the "state actor" level?
No, but on a "you can't get this kind of attack by just sending crypto to some dodgy Romanian website" level.

For all the bad press the army gets, i still know quite a few who joined from high school. I think the low opinion of the US army is really just a online thing because they are glowies. Irl, nobody really cares.

After hearing about the sophistication of the attacks, I rescind these thoughts, he clearly did pull out the stops.
Not necessarily. Byuu and Hector both have the level of skill to study a network and devise an attack plan specifically against that network, since their initial crapflooding wasn't doing anything, and have the motive to do it. And are sneaky enough to pick a time when someone else would be blamed.
I don't think I'm buying a GlowPhone any time soon. Also what he said is just bad advice. Why would you mark your actually important calls by not using the highest security possible on everything? You're just distinguishing between the times you're going out for pizza and when you're doing something important.

Hence why I said it wasn't a paid attack. There's two types of attacks it could have been. If it looks like regular traffic then it could have been something like a slowtoris attack.

It doesn't surprise me at all that the offspring of a special operations guy is an exceptionally disturbed girl.

Mushroom Daddy's company, Silent Circle:

$3.8 million in revenue per year, with a $130M valuation. 26 employees.

This guy ain't shit, no matter how much press copy his company gets. Same goes for SEAL stuff. He was an enlisted guy. Probably spent a ton of time PTing and training, but he's not going around meeting with heads of state or anything like that.

Military fag opinions would be appreciated.
There are 100+ interviews with him and Military enthusiasts/other glowies on YouTube I had no idea where to start it made my head fucking spin
