Now onto the ex-boyfriend dump: there's no solid tea, sorry if this is disappointing. It's helping me formulate a theory regarding her suicide attempts and romantic relationships, but I don't think I'm fully there yet.

Because someone was asking earlier about her other suicide attempts, I've arranged this info by attempt instead of by relationship.

Attempt #1- May 2017
I think to fully understand her mindset, we need to back up just a few months. In August 2016, Allison moved to Grenada, West Indies to start vet school at St. George’s University. She brought her boyfriend of two years, Nathanael “Nate” Thomson, with her. Despite the fact that she was going to school in the Caribbean, vet school anywhere is incredibly challenging.

Three things should be noted about this time period:

1. Nate is/was a DJ who occasionally played gigs on the island.
2. Allison has never mentioned the timeframe of her drug/alcohol abuse, so it’s unclear whether she was using in May 2017 (although I think it’s likely). She has also never specified which drugs she abused.
3. Allison was visibly at her lowest weight.

During Allison’s first semester at vet school (Aug/Sep 2016-Dec 2016), she did not post to Instagram at all. She and Nate both posted a few photos of the two of them on Facebook, but they were all beach photos.


Her second semester was a completely different story. Allison and Nate both posted photos of themselves partying and going to festivals.


Allison’s Instagram and Nate’s Facebook accounts curiously both took posting gaps at almost the exact same time- Nate between April 20-May 10, and Allison between April 18-May 12. By their return-to-posting dates, they were both seemingly back in the US, although not together. They never posted with or about each other again. For them to both take hiatuses at the exact same time, you'd think something big might have happened.




Allison claims her first suicide attempt happened in May 2017, and while she was still in Grenada. Therefore, this attempt had to have happened between May 1-12, 2017 (and I believe closer to May 1). She claims this attempt was by hanging, and that she was taken to the hospital where the doctors basically told her she wasn’t worth their time.

What’s really interesting is that immediately upon her return to social media, Allison posted on Facebook “First year of vet school. Check. Dreams really can come true,” which would indicate she did well academically (or at least passed). Of course, Allison has proven herself to be a giant narcissist who can’t keep her story straight, so I think this was likely a cover. This would indicate she’s been a massive cover-your-ass type of liar for years, which I don’t think would surprise any of us.


Once Allison turned her account into a spoonie circle jerk, she told her adoring fans that she left vet school for “mental health issues,” and then a few months later changed that to “chronic illness.”

A few months after their breakup, this was on Nate's page. I have absolutely zero proof that this is about Allison, but I'd like to think it is.


Attempt #2- October 14, 2018
Two months after Allison returned to Minnesota, she was already dating a new guy- Matthew “Matt” Honsa (former IG name was @honzzzza). She did not post much about their relationship, and Matt has very limited social media, so a lot of it is a mystery.


A few things to note:

1. This is the ex Allison alleges abused her (she was still with him as of June 24, 2019. One week later she checked herself into the psych ward because her boyfriend was abusive. I don’t think it takes a genius to make the connection here).
   
   
   
2. Matt seems to have a bit of a drinking and driving problem that dates back to before he dated Allison. Being a drunk driver doesn't mean you're abusive, but having two alcoholics together could definitely get volatile.
3. Allison and Matt were dating during both her second and third suicide attempts.
4. Although we don’t know the exact timeframe of her drug and alcohol abuse, I feel pretty fucking confident saying she was actively using during this time period.

Allison said that on October 14, 2018, she attempted to kill herself via hanging. She claims she lost consciousness, “technically died,” had to be cut down, and had a seizure. She was then taken to the hospital where no fewer than three different psychiatrists told her she was “too smart” and a “lost cause.” She was kept overnight and then released.

Five days later, she was on vacation in South Carolina with her parents.

Attempt #3- ~October 29, 2018
This is the attempt that we know the least about. Allison alleges that two weeks after attempt #2, she tried to overdose on venlafaxine (Effexor). She’s never mentioned any sort of hospital visit. You would think if someone tried to commit suicide twice within two weeks they might be admitted for at least a 72-hour psych hold.

Allison was still with Matt at this time.


Again, my theory is in its infancy; maybe some of you Farmers can interpret things a little better.

Of the bits I watched, everyone announced was from the United States or Canada. Bizarre that a university appears to almost exclusively educate citizens of other countries! Most of the universities I'm familiar with have an international student population between 20-45% by design because the purpose of universities is mostly to produce a stock of researchers, professionals and tax payers for their country, and international students are known to go back home when they're done with their degree.

It's pretty clear that something atypical of academia at large is going on at St. George's University. Do these people even get jobs if they finish their degree?

If previous education years were similar to this year’s education at St. George’s, the first week of May is when final exams take place. The end of the second week of may would be when grades would be released from the finals, Satisfactory Academic Progress and Professional Standards (CAPPS).

The fact that she was partying it up with her DJ boyfriend until 2 weeks before exams likely reflects how little she was studying in the days leading up to that short period she went radio silent. It is more likely that Allison struggled through her first semester of vet school, partied during the winter break with her DJ BF, and then continued that social partying at the cost of her education during the second semester.

Here’s a look at what winter break looks like, and April holidays, and appoximately when exam dates begin. These are approximate dates for this most recent 2021 year, but we can assume they follow a very similar pattern in 2016-2017.

When she could not commit to studying and either knew she could not pass her exams, or did not pass her exams, it is plausible that she attempted suicide and returned home. Mutual guilt and real hurt between them probably caused both to be radio silent on what really happened, and would cause bitterness on her part that she sabotaged her own life not for him, but in a way she would likely rather attribute to him than admit she couldn’t cut it in Caribbean vet school.

Costing someone her place in vet school is a good reason to break up a relationship.

And, it is extremely like Allison to feign passing or excelling, and then blaming a terrible tragedy or helpless scenario that prevented her from returning to her program.

It’s less likely that it was the boyfriend’s fault than that she was not academically performing, and then caught herself up in being insecure about her BF DJing all over the island with other women around, and decided to follow him to his parties so she would keep an eye on him, and it further cost her her already poor academics.

In multiple of her TikTok videos, she still cannot figure out the difference between (edit “you’re“ and “your” and she has very poor understanding of science and medicine. (Physiology and basic biology where you intern catching and tagging sea turtles are very different academic needs).

Here is a bit more information about why the May CAPPS evaluation and examinations are relevant to progress in school, and why it is interesting that she attempted suicide around that time specifically:

And a look at the 2017 academic calendar year for veterinary students, so the year following her entrance in 2016 and as I said, likely very similar in dates of events because academia follows set schedules.

And a look at some of the coursework she may have attempted to study, if she had not chosen the second veterinary path: which is pre-veterinary studies to veterinary school, a SEVEN year veterinary program designed to teach (or re-teach) students who do not have appropriate academic background to enter into vet school, who need to learn science basics first.

The first and second week of May, @microcatmachine would be facing final exams in her second semester of her first year of veterinary schooL Those exams, and her clinical performance, would determine whether or not she would be eligible to move forward and graduate into a second year of the program. A second semester of poor academic performance after struggling through semester 1 would cause the academic counsel to step in and ask her to repeat year 1 or depart the program. By May 12th, according to her IG account, she was already back in her home state in the US.

She either attempted suicide before attempting to take her second-semester exams and face CAPPS denial of moving forward to her second year, or immediately after those exams.

The fact that she was healed of “hanging” injuries, released from the hospital, and was able to pack and return home does suggest that she most likely attempted suicide before the exams began, or early in the first few days of her exams (which are usually a week long, covering different subjects and courses).

Caribbean schools are notorious for being places where people who couldn't cut it in or couldn't get into traditional US medical (and apparently veterinary) schools. They are brutally hard with high attrition and when students graduate, they have an uphill battle landing jobs, at least the medical students do anyways. But for some it's the only place they were accepted. That's why they're predominantly made up of US and Canadian students.

Incidentally, if she had attempted suicide, or even had chronic illness, doctorate programs allow year-long leaves of absence and hold the slot of the student experiencing mental health decline. And, yes, St. Georges has these options in place, too. She isn’t the first human to experience mental health decline due to potential failure, or stress of the course load in a medical program.

Which makes me think even more so, that it was her “out” when she couldn’t hack it.

I don’t believe she took her exams, personally. Just from what we’ve seen of her personality, lies, and how she likes to manipulate perceptions of herself and manipulate the actions and beliefs of the people around her. I think it is very likely that she already realized she was academically above her capabilities, and combined with her irresponsible partying, she knew she would not pass. I think she probably went to a student/campus type of medical setting to be evaluated for her attempt, and it likely looked performative in nature. At that point, she’s in a mental health crisis, not a medical one. And it isn’t the duty of the academic department to support her mental health journey. That is for the doctoral candidate to evaluate themselves, and communicate to the staff if they can continue. If they can’t, 100s of other students would take her place who were emotionally grounded.

She may have made her attempt, expected them to arrange a new test date for her sometime in the future because of her “medical” issue, and when they didn’t give her ass pats and tissues and were no-nonsense about her next actions, she bailed.

She probably had an “emotional outburst” with her BF at the time, too, and blamed him and created a nice sloppy breakup. As a DJ, living on an island, with lots of new people around, he probably was just about done with her shit when she pulled another meloncholia.

That also explains why “all” of her doctors were dismissive of her suicide attempts, and she never was forced in-patient for a 72 hour hold or other evaluation.

I think the only real attempt she made was her final attempt, and it involved downing pills — rather than admitting it was really an attempt, she confessed to drug abuse and went into a dependency program for substance use disorder to avoid psychiatric care in-patient for self-harm.
