He really let his past E-fame go to his head. I doubt many people are going about their day worried sick that Boogie is going to jail. They scroll through their feed, see it, comment on it/like it and move on. I think Boogie does this because he has no one in his life (friends or family) who really care about him, so he turns to his audience for that adoration.

In fact, Boogie thinks he's such a high priority in people's lives that this is how he started off a video when the pandemic was getting out of control last year:

As if anyone was worrying about how Boogie was going to survive the pandemic.

The person who he retweeted is wrong about h3h3 turning against him btw, but he's such a dumbass with no filter that he doesn't even think twice about putting all these creators on blast. Might explain why the PKA Highlights channel is dropping a lot of embarrassing Boogie clips at the moment.

You make good points all around, bit I think the prosecutor is going to focus on the warning shot and how irresponsible it is. I think he’s going to highlight the reasoning of “if you feel secure enough to aim your weapon elsewhere and take your eyes off the attacker long enough to fire off a round, then your life wasn’t in danger and you knew it”. I think they’ll go over self defense laws nominally, to set ground work, but the crux of it will be that dumb ass warning shot (imvho). Unless I’m missing something, which is entirely possible lol.

You expect this sort of thing with celebs. But when a shitty pseudo-celebrity (daytime talk show hosts, stage moms, youtubers, etc.) starts acting this way, it's kind of sickening.

Did you even read what he was charged with before speculating? It has nothing to do with stand your ground or a duty to retreat. he has a duty not to fire his gun in the middle of a city for no reason.

It’s going to relevant in the sense that he came out of a locked house to fire his dumb warning shot. If he had a duty to retreat he’s (his lawyer) going to have significantly less wiggle room in his defense. In a stand your ground state you can confront your attacker, it’s fine. Otherwise, by law, he shouldn’t have come out of the house and the prosecutor is going to hound on that.

I think in his first appearance on the killstream they all seemed to get along. Boogie was making the edgy jokes and everything.
Boogie then afterwards when people gave him shit went on and profusely apologizes and did his usual "oh please feel sorry for me" stick.

It's not that he didn't have a right to do it, but that him doing it isn't consistent with a claim of being in fear of his life. They may try to argue that while he didn't have a duty to retreat, that doesn't mean he had a right to advance and confront. I don't think much of that. I think he had a right to go out on his own front porch to tell someone to get off it, even while armed. It's what he did once he got out there that is the problem. He didn't have a right to endanger the neighborhood. Let's grant for argument that he had a right to shoot the unarmed Frank. Even if he did that, though, he'd have an obligation to the public to take some consideration for what was behind him if he missed, or whether he was firing something that could go through Frank and hit someone behind him.

Shooting in the air was really bad and you can see from the video he isn't even looking where he's shooting.

The warning shot was definitely retarded but boogie committed aggravated assault as soon as he pointed the gun at Frank. Pointing a gun at someone, with your finger on the trigger, especially a single-action trigger, already fits the statute. I don't think boogie's fans understand that he's being charged with assaulting Frank, not just being negligent.
