I really liked this, sometimes I forget Joel is quite intelligent and not just all about that good ol' fecal funny.

Probably already been responded to, but Jen had a tendency to frequently attention seek about having bipolar disorder. I remember her bringing it up like every 20 minutes during her Psychonauts stream. She used to do the same in discord constantly too to get asspats. Also what the hell is up with Jen and mods always talking about being depressed, feeling down, suiciding and shit?

I'm glad Vinny got included in the credits for Spelunky 2. He has his shitty aspects, but he's a genuinely good dude who I'd take a bullet for. I personally think people who think poorly of themselves; even if it's not justified, tend to be good people. Shows that in spite of bad things that may have happened to them, they didn't let it make them a spiteful, vain, egotistical person, even if it would have made sense for them to do so. Linked clip is related. https://www.twitch.tv/vinesauce/clip/DistinctConcernedBaconDatSheffy
I know that, and I guess I could have phrased it better, but I'm just tired of thinking the worst of people. I think it's a bit silly personally to say that you can't know somebody, at least a little, after watching enough of their stuff. You even proved as much with the latter part of your response. He slips. He reveals things. Streaming for 10 years and not expecting people to know how you are as a person at least a bit is crazy. God's sake, during that old CS:GO highlight on Joel's channel, he responds to someone saying how smoking is bad and he just pretty much goes "I'm going to die anyways, what does it matter if I die sooner?".I don't mean to be a (most dumbest) bitch, but I think you've fallen into the same trap Vinny was describing in this highlight. Unless you do know Vinny personally - and if so, what are you doing here?- your opinion of him as a person is only based on the way he portrays himself. I don't disagree that he seems like a nice dude, but to say that he is unarguably a good person because he has a negative opinion of himself seems a little silly. Plenty of people ARE shitty people and resent themselves for it; the two things aren't mutually exclusive.
That said, this clip actually feels a little bit more telling than I think he meant it to be. I haven't heard Vinny talk like this in years, and straight up telling chat that he doesn't think very highly of himself and that they "can't save him from himself" was... odd, and a little perturbing. It's no secret that he's dealt with mental health issues over the years, he's been very upfront about that, but this moment just felt weirdly revealing. He did mention in a previous stream that quarantine was getting to him a bit, so I wonder if that's part of why he just let that slip out without stopping himself like he usually does. Pretty interesting little moment.
You have to wonder just how popular Vinny thought his streams would get, if he even thought it would take off at allAlso, maybe I mentioned way back, but the reason Vinny doesn't want people to put him on a pedestal or give him asspats over being an ideal content creator is because he's probably made some very human mistakes in the past.
It would be interesting to see how Vinny's presence online would've taken off if he hadn't been so open with his identity so many years ago. Had he gone the Cr1tiKaL and shown no face or hinted that he lived on Staten Island or anything, I wonder if he'd be more relevant than he is currently, or be another Joowz/Capicoli scenario of getting 100 viewers at most during a stream. Though I'll say, having Vin divulge into weird Catholic school stories or talk about music he likes makes the stream a lot more cozy and personable, which I do enjoy a lot.He slips. He reveals things. Streaming for 10 years and not expecting people to know how you are as a person at least a bit is crazy.
every time something involving joel is cancelled or rescheduled it's always because of Joel, man needs to stop making commitmentsThe big L4d2 stream got cancelled/moved for "scheduling conflicts", I wonder if Joel had diarrhea again![]()
nah it was during his 7 days to die stream, he found out liveDid Vin do anything other than ~~be an influencer~~ to get his name in the credits of Spelunky 2?
I hate the term, but I do have to admit I bought a couple games over the years after watching his streams.
Also: Vin confirms that the Lego season of Vinesauce is over once he builds the NES, hope he keeps to that. I can hear the disappointment in himself anytime he said something like "it's ok at my age to build Lego."
https://youtube.com/watch?v=fVZO4XiFdbETLDW; "hopefully somebody else picks it up, it was good."
I haven't watched the stream nor am I too familiar with civvie, but how do you know that they have beef from that comment? Did he sound angry or say something passive aggressive against civvie afterwards, or something like that? He most likely is just snapping at chat for spamming something like he does sometimes, except tonight he chose to do it in the most bitch way possible and stopped playing the game. Then he read in chat that civvie played the game he was playing and immediately was like WELP ENOUGH OF THAT MOVING ON.
civvie and vin have beef? since whent do either of them beef in any direction? I've only ever heard people hate at ggmanlives in shooter fandom youtube.
am confuse
If he really does has beef, then I'm like you and curious as hell as what happened between them.
What the actual fuck? Vinny's not the type to bring that shit up in public. And in such a vague way, too. He's been acting seriously weird the past week or so.
Maybe, or maybe one of his many mods (code for friends) got into an argument with Civvie, so he feels like he has to back them up, which would be weird, if it turns out the reason as to why was because of risque humor on Civvie's part; considering Vinny has associated with Oney and others who have done content or make jokes that would cause some of chat to lose their shit.sounds more like he didnt want to hear that this obscure game he found and wanted to show to people was already done by someone else
i'd hardly consider Civvie's jokes Risque, since its mostly video game jokes, jokes about himself being abused, or cancer mouse, which is played to mock those sort of people as being cancer.
