I don’t know how many of you keep up with Direboar/Dorb’s streams, but his dad passed recently. Hopefully he takes time to himself soon to recuperate and mourn.

I do not beliveve that unedited VOD channel idea he had is going to happen. hes a autistic perfectionist, may not be the right wrod but its the only one i can think of now, to a fault and the archivist in me is pained by it

Speaking or archival, I came here to talk about it since vinny mentioned it live right now. i remember waking up at 3 pm (dont ask) and realizing in horror i forgot to save the tony hawk vod. I am very fucking pissed I will never have a pure copy now

Also normally i think vinny is really bad at explaing arguements involving nintendo, but tonight I think he did a really good job discussing the 3D All Stars collection controversy in depth.

It's sort of the same issue as the OS Destructions - there's only so many ways you can mess with it before you start repeating yourself. I don't really know how much more he can do with Meme House as a concept, since it's pretty heavily reliant on those goofy mods and skin packs. So at this point it's going to be more of the same by default.
 
For me, the main source of amusement in Meme House was the chaos commited by the game itself, either on its own or descending from Joel's action. Finale, on the other hand, was basically a machinima, prerecorded and prerendered, without anything sudden happening live and surprising both Joel and viewers.
 
Did Vin do anything other than ~~be an influencer~~ to get his name in the credits of Spelunky 2?
I hate the term, but I do have to admit I bought a couple games over the years after watching his streams.
Also: Vin confirms that the Lego season of Vinesauce is over once he builds the NES, hope he keeps to that. I can hear the disappointment in himself anytime he said something like "it's ok at my age to build Lego."

I'm glad Vinny got included in the credits for Spelunky 2. He has his shitty aspects, but he's a genuinely good dude who I'd take a bullet for. I personally think people who think poorly of themselves; even if it's not justified, tend to be good people. Shows that in spite of bad things that may have happened to them, they didn't let it make them a spiteful, vain, egotistical person, even if it would have made sense for them to do so.
