I come to you with some strange Animes i found on youtube(Its for some reason the best quality i could find on the web...)

has anybody a cleaner version of
https://youtube.com/watch?v=K0lnl8B1k_k
or
https://youtube.com/watch?v=-td8Jp0hJVA

One of those was a French production animated in Hungary, so that's for a different thread entirely...

But as for the other one, no, I don't think there's a cleaner version. I don't think it's gotten released on DVD anywhere. Doc Smith's estate hates the Lensman animes.

It has largely been taboo for much of Japan's history. It was persecuted and outlawed, with one of the more oppressive instances leading to the Shimabara Rebellion, the largest civil conflict of the Edo period. Catholic peasants rising up against an oppressive regime.
I like how upon reading this my mind immediately went to Amakusa from the Fate series.

Watched The Promised Neverland. Was pleasantly surprised.

Honestly wasn't expecting the orphanage to be a place to farm children for eldritch abominations. I suppose the branded numbers were a pretty big clue, but I kinda figured it was more like a child soldier sort of thing.

Main three seemed fairly cookie cutter, but they grew on me a bit over time.

The entire time when watching scenes with Sister Krone, I couldn't help but imagine there's a bunch of whiny babbies complaining about her design, and sure enough, there are.

Isabella with her hair down is a babe.

Apparently there's supposed to be a season 2 coming soon, and I look forward to that.

Just 2 things:

1: Minor Spoiler The story becomes a bit meh after the escape, but it's still solid for a while

2: You're right about Isabella

That's Fate for you. Google Nero Cladius and a blond woman is one of the top image returns.

I get an Attack on Titan vibe from it. Nobody what the truth is, it won't live up to what we've made in our minds.

I still have to get volumes 4-6 of 20th Century Boys starting next month. In fact, there’s a lot a new manga releases I’m looking forward to, but I’m still hoping they‘re released at a reasonable price.

By the way, is it too late to get into reading Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure? I haven’t seen the show getting spammed as much on social media, but I’m not the type to just follow the Jojo trend because someone on social media says so.

It's never too late for Jojo, especially now that both parts 4 and 5 have good fan translations available. No more suffering through DUWANG-tier translations to get the full story. Start at the beginning and work forward until you're all caught up, then enjoy waiting a month for each new part 8 chapter to come out (or two in this case since Araki's taking September off).

I'd say there's a little less hype for the parts after 3 because that's the one that gets memed to hell and back, but it seems to still be doing well enough for Viz to keep doing official releases of the manga (I think they're on part 4 now?). Still no word on a part 6 anime, which I only care about so that we can hopefully get Steel Ball Run animated eventually.

I like what exists outside of the orphanage, but the execution falls apart halfway through the series. The next season will still be good though.

There's a laserdisk rip on nyaa but for all I know this is where the youtube video came frm.

Damn that's got an official release now? Now's the time to read it then, iirc the old fan translations were by the hawks guys who did the old Berserk translation and those were

faggot ass monsters.jpg

so I decided to wait for the official translations, and yeah Jojo is worth it. I especially liked parts 2 4 and 7. Part 4 is one of my favorite manga/anime series ever. Each part has something unique to offer and tells it's own mostly self contained story, so opinions vary wildly on which parts are the best. The current part is in it's final arc but it could go on for several more years if part 7's final arc was any indication so it's a good time to jump in to the series. If you like tactical superpower series like Hunter X Hunter and such you'll like this. I recommend the fan translation of the officially colored manga.

lol same

I think the title should actually be Garzey's Wings.

New episode of Re:Zero is fucking brutal. It seems like the arc is about Subaru having to sacrifice his allies to advance, since there is too many enemies for him to outsmart and his allies are too scattered to organize. I'd be kinda disappointed if it ends with him finding some deus ex machina solution.

I doubt it. There isn't anyone he can throw away at this point storywise, even if he grows willing to let minor characters he knows the names of die for realzies he still has Emilia and Rem in two different locations. Since he's got to save them both from a character perspective he's going to have to solve both problems mostly bloodlessly.

Bennet the Sage?
I like how Bennet the Sage's persona was all about playing a fucked-up person that everyone in CA is scared of, but actually seems to be a pretty nice guy while JewWario was the exact opposite, seeming to be a pretty nice guy and everyone in CA loved him in their collaborations, but was a fucked-up person.
