It's incredibly manipulative aswell. They only transition then because they have someone who can be a caretaker for them, as they go about ruining their lives and their loved ones. It's incredibly hard to leave a marriage, especially if you have kids aswell. I'd imagine it would affect the kids to the point where it ruins their childhood because of their abusive father. He knows they can't easily leave, and exploits that.

Her not seeing him as a woman isn't the same as hating transpeople. It could be personal, the daughter not being able to see her father the man she grew up with as a woman, but being fine with the gender identy of others she doesn't have that history with. Or hell it could be that she would have been fine with her father transitioning if her mother hadn't died and now feeling that her dad is trespassing holy ground by trying become the new mom. Even if it's "the worst" case where she see all transitioning as just playing pretend it wouldn't mean she is hateful. She would just see the world and what's possible differently, that doesn't automatically mean she thinks trans are evil or deserve to get hurt. People disagree about fundamental world views all the time and are still able to get along and support eachother. There are marriages that have survived one person loosing their faith while the other person keeps their devotion.
What information we have it doesn't look like she is being overly mean to him. Sure she doesn't accept his new gender identity and has expressed that but so what? He could have chosen to just agree to disagree about him being a woman. It might be bit awkward but with don't ask don't tell policy there is possibility that they could have plesant enough relationship. If he continued to treat her well and be there for as a father a good relationship would have been possible despite difficulties with trans part.

Wait, does he mean this study? The one that's usually only brought up in places like this because it confirms that the microbiomes are nothing alike and the neovaginas smelled bad enough that the researchers felt the need to note that "Although this was not a study criterion and therefore not scored, a foul smell of the vagina was observed in most patients."?
That was the only study on neovaginal microflora I could find from this millennium, and the only other one I found was a 1993 study on colon neovaginas that finds they have the same pH and bacteria species as the colon, just with fewer bacteria than the actual ass.

Why neovaginas aren’t the same as vaginas:
- Neovaginas smell like shit.
Vaginas have natural odors, and each woman's odor is different. A healthy vagina's typical scent may best be described as “musky” or “fleshy.” A menstrual cycle might cause a slightly “metallic” scent for a few days. Intercourse may change the smell temporarily. Infections may give off a foul odor, but nothing on the level of smelling like someone’s ripe asshole.
- Neovaginas are high up.
Neovaginas end up starting higher on the pelvis due to the penis having a naturally higher position than the vagina in the pubic area.
- Neovagina’s “labia”s look like wrinkled ballsacks.
Probably because that’s what they’re made from. It looks dry and wrinkly, like an old man’s face.
- Neovaginas cannot self-lubricate without smelling like shit.
This is also probably why Neovaginas look so dry. The only way to get it to “self-lubricate” is to use some of the colon/ large intestines since they have a similar function. Howvere, they produce intestinal mucus and it will make the axe wound smell like shit.
- Sex is dangerous.

I have noticed something from a few written pieces from FTM who transitions at older ages are that they tend to be big hypocrites, if they're not outright batshit crazy at first look. For example, they tend to see themselves as 'true and honest' trans, out of some wacky reasons. - but then see other troons as trenders even if they use a similarly stupid reasoning they used. In fact it seems to be how many self-proclaimed 'transmed' talk about themselves. This is why i can't see them as 'sane' trans either - it's certainly a very insecure way of thinking, then our medical system is failing them by enabling self-destructive delusion in the first place.
This article from Scott Newgent got me thunking and rolling my eyes - She see herself as 'true and legit trans', even if all the transitioning procedures destroyed her life but can't fathom the idea that her daughter is trooning out and think that the daughter must be fake. https://glinner.co.uk/interview-with-scott-newgent/.
There was also a well-known neuroscientist Ben/Barbara Barres who trooned out after breast cancer mastectomy at an older age (this is questionable, a rigid obsession with how women should look like?), but eventually died an early death due to pancreatic cancer which is associated with hormones use. Reading her interview it seemed like she had suffered a lot of discrimination in scientific field for being a woman and was advocating against it, as well as bringing up the points that there are unlikely to be male and female brain, so it was clear that Barres didn't believe in 'male brain in the female body' garbage and recognised how social roles can affect someone. - but of course she was a true and honest trans because she played with trucks as a kid.
I actually work in life science fields and the way Barres is talked about saddens me a little, they just gobbles this trans stupidity up and regurgitate the usual 'brave and stunning' remarks - and forget that this is a field that commitment to biological reality is important. Papers with bad methodology get cited every time someone wants to back up why troonism is a legitimate thing.

From personal experience, there are apps and other places now where you can get prescribed various types of BC (pills, patches, ring, etc.) without going to a doctor's office. Iirc a primary care doctor can prescribe it too. Obviously things like IUDs or implants would need a doctor still. I don't know which one you're referring to in your post.
And lesbians could still require BC too since they can also work to fix or manage hormonal issues.

I don't think they can, but some PCP's can do gyno exams. She could just also be poor and not go to the doctor unless something's seriously wrong (so preventative care like regular checkups just don't happen.) Plus, she probably isn't having a lot of sex if even an exam trips her out like that, so on the rare occasion she actually DOES get laid, she might just use condoms, and all you gotta do for those is bring a quarter to the gas station bathroom of your choice.

So their skin is breaking down. The "natural lubrication" some claim is probably just their skin weeping. I suppose they will be happy to read that they have similarities with cis vaginas (with BV). "Just like a real girl!"
