Most places have a limit on the number of animals you can have... for example, here's the City of Fargo's Municipal Code:

12-0116. - Number of Dogs and/or Cats - Limitation.​
​
A. It shall be unlawful to keep, harbor, own, or in any way possess more than six dogs and cats over six months of age upon or about the premises of any dwelling unit, within the corporate limits of the City of Fargo. The maximum number of dogs and cats, combined, may not exceed six.​
​
B. Exception - A person may request a permit from the Fargo Police Department to keep more than six dogs and cats as part of a qualified home used by organizations for rescue or sheltering of abandoned or lost animals. For purposes of this section, a "qualified home" shall mean a home which has received written approval to house abandoned or lost animals by or on behalf of a bona fide organization involved in the rescue or sheltering of abandoned or lost animals, and which organization has been in existence within the United States of America and operating for at least one year. The permit shall be for a period of one year, and may be renewed annually, provided there have been no violations of the provisions of this chapter resulting in an administrative penalty, infraction, or criminal violation being imposed on the holder of said permit. The fee for the permit shall be set and reviewed from time to time by the board of city commissioners.​

Oh and cats also have to be licensed, which you can only get with proof of rabies vaccine.

Fargo city ordinances require that all cats and dogs be licensed, even those who remain indoors at all times. A license costs $5.00* per calendar year. You can purchase a license at select Fargo veterinary hospitals, the Fargo City Animal Pound or Fargo City Hall (Auditor's Office). Some veterinary hospitals add a processing fee to the cost of the license; there is no fee added if you buy your license at City Hall. In order to receive a license, you will need to show proof that your animal's rabies vaccination is current.​

*Licenses can also be purchased online for $10.00 ($5.00 license fee + $5.00 shipping and handling) per license.​

My ex spouse was a nuclear engineer in the Navy. To get to that position they flunked out of nuclear power school (very hard school, high drop out rate) but they were still entrusted with being able to worK with the missiles and stuff as a nuke engineer, just not as high up as they could have been had they graduated. How did that translate to the real world? Not very well but because they did work with Tomahawks and stuff they got a government job easily on the civilian side.

So this dwebe is pretending to a general designation in the Navy that is actually nothing special at all. Because I doubt that he made it through the school. Those that do have a stellar future with high paying jobs available to them. Even those that don't graduate can still do well - something this theyby can't manage.

d. No residence within the City of Casselton shall have licensed more than three dogs or cats. All cats and dogs licensed on or before January 7, 2013, will be exempt from the three dog or cat requirement.​

The Navy has a nuclear field for enlisted personnel. You don't have to have any special out-of-military training, you just go through your A schooling (which I believe is about fifteen months total for a machinist's mate and 18 months for the other two rates, I can't remember which ones they are...I think electrician's mate is one though) and then you join the fleet. Depending on your level of knowledge and how well you do in school, you'll find yourself on carriers or submarines. Beyond that there's nothing much more.

Source: I was offered a spot in the nuclear field when I was looking to enlist. To keep my father--a command master chief--happy I did hit up the Navy recruiter and took the practice ASVAB and was told I could easily pass to be a nuc and would be an E-5 "in under two years". Obviously I said no, but I still listened to them, and I remember most of what they told me at the time, though this was back in 2004, so things could have changed.

Point is, to be a nuclear engineer in the Navy doesn't requires a master's as an enlisted person, and I don't think there's a lot of demand for them in the civilian world. I have a friend who was a nuc on submarines and even he said that there was nothing for him to do with his rating, but he couldn't go to school for college while in the service because he spent half his time at sea.

Surface Warhare Officer, Nuclear Submarine Officer, Nval Reactor Engineer, Nuclear Power School Insturctor, or Nuclear Power Training Uint Instructor. Each one is takes a lot longer to finish than the other. Also, you have to be pursing a BA, BS, or an MS.
Candidates must be graduates or students of an accredited college or university in the United States or in a United States territory pursuing a BA, BS or MS (preferably major in mathematics, engineering, physics, chemistry or other technical areas). Those still in school may apply as early as 30 months from completion of an undergraduate degree for Surface Warfare (Nuclear), Submarine, and Instructor positions and as early as 18 months from completion of an undergraduate degree for Naval Reactors Engineers. Applicants may also join the NUPOC program as early as 12 months from completion of a master's degree for all NUPOC positions. Additional academic requirements include:
