The idea that gender roles should or can be abolished implies that they must exist in a concrete form that is systematically enforced, which is not particularly true these days. This attempted "abolishment" is how we have gotten individuals like the topic of this thread; as the idea that the traditional should be rejected has lead to rejection for it's own sake. Amanda here doesn't live her own life, rather she lives a life contrary to some gender ideal that really only exists in her head.

If you truly wish to abolish gender roles, simply live well and as is natural for yourself. To actively attempt to defy these apparent roles is to let them control you.

Your first point stands for every unwritten societal norm. Ostracism worked better in ye olden days, when common folk depended heavily on their bonds in the community. Nowadays, every kind of freak can find their godforsaken corner both on- and offline, so no real need to observe those rules.

RE: "how we got here", I think that's a clusterfuck of epic proportions. Some initially good intentions paved the way to hell, lunatics latched on movements, geek social fallacy #1 at large, etc. Along the way, it picked up postmodernist cancer, got corrupted by grifters for their own agendas, united too many too different groups against a perceived common enemy, so on and so forth. The popular "let's unpack this" shit and the SJW concept of privilege came from one Peggy McIntosh, a professor at Wellesley College (alumni include Hillary Rodham Clinton, Madeleine Albright, Madame Chiang Kai-shek). Lots of parallels with communism, another set of ideas and memes beloved by these activist types.

Fuck me, that's a lot of words to say I agree with you. Now I'm rambling, and probably not doing a good job of making a clear argument.

This whole abolishment needs to happen fully organically, as it does right now, not commandeered by some elitist intellectual midgets getting high off their own farts.

He's either lying about his super edgy bullshit mental problems and talking shit to a commanding officer and he actually was a nuclear engineer OR he's lying about being a nuclear engineer because the way he over-indulges information based on how he was abused as a kid and this that and the other, he wouldn't have made it through week five in Basic unless he was reeeeally good at hiding his baggage, and nothing about him insinuates that he's good at keeping his personal shit to himself.

Given his track record online, I'm inclined to heavily lean towards the latter. Stolen valor IS a federal offence but usually the government pursues the claims if it's, like, a bigger deal. This guy's a nobody of a nobody; not only is the FBI absolutely not involved in whatever crock Amanda's trying to peddle, but I'm sure no one can be arsed to care about some tranny edgelord who thinks he's being super cool by bragging about being a nuclear engineer in the Navy.

So both of them are convinced they are much smarter than they actually are, and smarter than just about everybody else, so they feel free to lie about stupid shit, in transparently stupid and unbelievable ways, thinking they'll be believed. And they do this to impress strangers on the internet thus gaining the sympathy and positive attention neither one is capable of getting from others in real life.

I'd say he's lying about both. He's too stupid to have been an nuclear engineer and he'd be making a lot of money if he was one. I'm in school right now to become a nuclear engineer and I still have four more years to go as I have to get my Masters after I get my Bachelor's in the next two years (then about two more years for my Masters). Minimum you'd be making a month is around $7000, if he was making that he wouldn't be living in a hovel. Plus it's a highly sought after field so there's no excuse why he's not doing it still.

Oh yeah, on the mark. Not only do they want to be trans girls, but they are most likely incels and manlets before transition, with not just the mentality but the worldview. As the incel believes, they think the female gender is of such an alien kind that they magically are without filth and are always and everyday pretty and clean without effort.

As any woman in the real world will tell and show you, that's bullshit. Women are known to work their asses off and spending a lot of time attending to their hygene and cleanliness out of not just self image but their health and self esteem. So if anything, they live in a bubble without common sense and the deduction that females- gasp- are human beings too, and with all of their faults and variety as personalities and individuals that come with it.

TL;DR, it is of no surprise that these kinds of trans women are mentally unstable and are classified as unwell and exceptional.
