Funimation Allegedly Fired Ishuzoku Reviewers Translator Before Cancellation
After trying to
quietly cancel the interspecies brothel reviewing anime
Ishuzoku Reviewers, Funimation’s official forums (at least the parts that aren’t being silenced), have been abuzz with rumors and allegations regarding the staff of people that were working on the show before it got axed.
A user on the Funimation forums going by the nickname “ShortyGal1105”
has alleged the American dubbing business fired one of the original translators of Ishuzoku Reviewers and made her sign a non-disclosure agreement before the show got removed from the streaming service:
When prompted for proof of this quite serious statement, the
user replied they do not wish to reveal their sources in order to protect the people involved:
Though there is no actual official proof behind the user’s statement, this kind of action makes sense for Funimation considering the discreet way they tried to remove the series from their platform (to say nothing of their agenda in altering the dialogue of anime for their own purposes).
