I think usually when that argument comes up, it's assuming disliking illegal immigration is mostly due to "browning" the country which isn't exactly how it works or the focus.

Yes. That's what Social Justice is all about: not actually dealing with people according to their individual right or wrong behavior (which is true justice), but making sure that alleged victims get to act upon their feelings of victimization, usually by executing similar abuse against people who superficially resemble the alleged perpetrator.

Another thing that should be noted that the Soviet Union in its early history, especially under the rule of Joseph Stalin, were also just as genocidal as their fascist counterparts also. The ideology may be different but the tactics of oppression are still the same in the end.

In general, people who think genocide was invented in the 1930's are historical illiterates. The Nazi innovation was the application of the methods of industry to that task. Before that point, I think there was a common faith in the idea that industry would bring about a better world. The concentration camps exposed the flaws of that notion, and were a sort of horrible parody of the idea.

They weren't the last to try it, though, and we'll see it done again and again. It's a beautiful fucking world.

She's exactly like Ford in that they fucked up and found a legitimately damaged person without understanding what they were getting into, so what began as a "Gotcha!" moment that they all but certainly knew was Fake News, quickly became a frantic back-peddling to try and get away from a certified lunatic before they hurt their reputation any more than they already did by fronting them to begin with.

E. Jean and B. Ford clearly had something traumatic happen to them in the past, but like most legitimately insane people: They'll project it onto anyone and anything that passes in front of them, especially if it's a public figure in popular media. I can guarantee you with 200% certainty that if you walked into any psych ward in any clinic in the world, you could find a dozen patients there who would swear up and down that Trump/Putin/Macron/Trudeau raped them in a Taco Bell last week.
