It was the about the Inspection letter. If you double check conversation you see he has to basically BRB because his mother needs to speak to him, a few hours later he's back replying and relates the conversation with his Mum about the Letter. Then the next day I think he's implying he stayed up very late stressed by that conversation.

You know, the irony is, I'm not entirely sure Chris is so oblivious and wrapped up in himself that he might not even notice someone else is autistic, especially if they were high functioning. I'm guessing Chris conflates the autism spectrum with... well the real low functioning retarded kids. The kinds who have to wear helmets and who can barely communicate. Chris undoubtedly would have interacted with such kids when he was in special ed classes back in high school. Again, ironic since Chris is probably retarded himself. And I don't mean that as an insult, it's just... :stupid:

Assuming Chris found an autistic girl, odds are they'd probably have a lot in common. She'd probably be into Sonic or MLP, and they could sperg out together.

This I agree with wholeheartedly. Of course, I could see Chris being an asshole towards anyone he winds up in a relationship with, especially the minute she expects him to do something that inconveniences Chris (ie, anything other than playing video games).

While I doubt Chris has the mental prowess to judge other's emotional state well enough be manipulative (that's Barb) , he would be a giant asshole as you say.

Emotionally abusive relationships rely on the abuser to abuse the poor victim to the limits of his or her tolerance, without going too far that would actually cause the abused person to take action.
The abuser always stops just short before the victim has had enough, a vicious circle that I have seen lasting for years.
There are much worse people out there than Chris.

Chris on the other hand, would go full on Jackass on anybody until they could not take it and got rid of him. He has no self control and is :stupid: . He can't play on other's emotions, the worst he can do is lamely beg for pity from asspatters who are already willing to asspat him.

Edit: Now Barb, she is professional. It is a testament to Chris's :stupid: nature that he didn't learn any abusive techniques from her. Which maybe for the best.

In regards to the chest and face remarks, in so far as he's trying to portray himself as a gentleman to the ladies, he's just parroting stuff he's no doubt heard or been coached on. He obviously doesn't mean a word of it. Didn't he also say at some point he had learned to keep his distance and hands to himself after Megan?

He didn't. He's trying to use his "magic words" again, hoping to unlock the secret panty code. It's not going to work in his case, especially since he wastes no time directing his eyes to breasts and commenting on any perceived/apparent shortcomings of the girl like her weight.

TL;DR: he's just an asshole manchild who wants tail and won't keep his hands to himself. I was going to say can't but then I recalled his behavior changing on the Emily date when Bob was present and when he stepped away so he knows what not to do and chooses to do it if he thinks he can get away with it.

The frequency of the texts at various hours and Catie's lack of any response makes Chris look like a stalker spamming messages to his victim's answering machine. The contents of the texts are full of inane babbling about details in his life no one gives two shits about or would find just creepy. I can just picture Catie reading these and either shuddering in disgust or yawning in boredom. These texts are just another example of the only ways Chris is capable of interacting with women that we've seen in past interactions with fake "sweethearts", being creepy and/or boring (with the occasional touch of asshole here and there).
 
I love how Chris specifically notes C-cups or higher, as if A or B cups aren't worth a stare to any man.

But then I remember Chris specifically wants a woman with C and higher cups, fitting for a man as perfect as Chris, clearly.

And then he can't even do what he claims to be able to because he was fixated on poor Catie's breasts anyway. Way to go Chris.
 
I've heard that people who play a lot of vidya are prone to lucid dreams. When you combine this with his complete lack of life structure and slipping in and out of sleep whenever convenient, terrible diet and lack of exercise making him lethargic then it's easy to imagine Chris being in a near constant half awake state.

it's no wonder Chris lives in a world of fantasy enemies and imaginary confrontation.

Oh really? I was interpreting that as Chris being more grounded than I originally thought, because I understood that lucid dreaming required a person to be conscious of the fact that their surroundings aren't based in reality.

But your explanation makes much, much more sense. We're talking about a guy who, in the past, had conversations with a human/hedgehog/electric-mouse/son hybrid.

I wouldn't be surprised if Chris does keeps a diary because you know it's what girls do after all. I imagine it will be one of those password journal things and it will just be filled with page after page of tomgirl sonich drawings. It may also have the odd bitch fit about his journeys into the outside world.

He kept a diary in Animal Crossing but that was a long time ago when he had energy to actually do things and even then I doubt he kept it up for very long. He is far too depressed/lazy to do such a thing these days.

Also, Chris lacks control over pretty much every other facet of his life, so I'm sure he doesn't object to having some sort of consciousness to his dreams.
 
With regards to being attracted to bookworms, aside from the extremely creepy Oedipus implications that everyone's commented on, I couldn't help but think about the father call when Chris comments that Kacey is smart and does this kinda condescending laugh while saying "She may even be smarter than me....on a few subjects."
This has always made me think that Chris can claim he wants a smart woman but his ego won't allow him to think a woman is actually more intelligent than him. I always thought he sees it as something cute, like "awww she knows astrophysics, how sweet, that'll come in handy in the kitchen!" But he claims he's attracted to smart women cos that's what society says you do, only bad people want airheads and Chris can't possibly be a bad man, he's the hero of his story.

Long story short Chris wants a dumb girl with big boobs, nothing new.
 
I'm just sort of amazed at the fact that not only does he have enormous piles of garbage under his bed, but that he randomly offers this fact to someone he's hitting on. The fact that he stores trash under his bed is pretty unsurprising to anyone who knows about him, but why would you actually tell someone this?

Chris genuinely believes that he is the standard when it comes to measuring intelligence and how people think. When someone comes along and demonstrates that they may be smarter than he believes he is, it frightens him because it's harder for him to say he has a position of power and authority over them. He essentially wants the hypothetical sweetheart to be trainable but not really smart (hence the "sweetheart from the ground-up" nonsense). That's a textbook abuser trait right there.
