Him and his apple slices and tea. This is not the first time he posted or texted someone that he was staying hydrated with apple slices and tea.

Also, creepy that Borb was mad at Bob for "being there for Chris." And creepy that Chris is like "OH, I'm attracted to bookworms because my mom worked in a library." Yes, we've all commented on it, I just had to...it's just...ew.

It's possible. I've no doubt Chris still considers Sonichu and Rosechu alive and having adventures, so it follows that they still talk to him. I doubt he's ever broken off a relationship because they told him to, but it's not impossible. However I don't want to think too hard about Chris' mental state for the same reason you don't stare too closely at the Lovecraftian horror.

I'd always viewed that as a kind of preemptive defensiveness about his unhealthy eating habits. In the father call he offers the fact that he drinks lemonade at McDonalds in his defense.

Come to think of it, has Chris ever shown any particular fixation on intelligence or scholarliness before? He usually seems mostly interested in nurturingness and supportiveness, whether he's searching for someone who embodies those characteristics or projecting them onto someone he already knows.

Short answer? No. Long answer:

Chris' stated standards and his actual standards have very little to do with each other (See: Hambeast). While he might say he wants a smart girl to sound good, I have no doubt that he'd go for any girl that showed a modicum of interest. That's why I've always hoped his requirement that his heartsweet not be a slow-in-the-mind would be tested. I'm sure he would cave instantly, but it would be interesting to see how he handled it.

That said, none of his attraction signs or dating profiles have made even a passing reference to intelligence or education as a requirement, aside from the vague caveat that the woman must have a good job.

I think he just sees it as affectionate. For some reason Chris is a bit fixated on Bob's old IBMRC ("I be Mr. C") vanity plate.

I found it weirder that Barb apparently smiles whenever Chris calls her 'Barbara Anne'. But autism means he could even be misinterpreting grimaces as smiles, so it's probably not worth reading too much into it.

Dating another challenged person would be ideal, normally, for someone like Chris. In fact it's what I would wish for him, to find a nice autistic girl to settle down with, except that Chris is so massively vindictive and mean spirited that he would just abuse the hell out of any partner emotionally.
