17 year old but with a 22 year old body so sex is consensual? Age sliding? Even people within the system have their own system of alternate universe versions? Jesus Christ on a pogo stick, someone sign that kid up for piano lessons or something. They need a new hobby. (Assuming they're a young teen, if they're older than that then I have lost the last shred of my faith in humanity.)

It's interesting that they have cisgender characters, even though they're not straight.
At least none of them are The Dreaded White Cishet Males. I'd pay to see a straight cisgender white male headmate.

They're eighteen. You may proceed to sob.

I had to take four separate screenshots to capture this person's entire "system," Jesus fuck. And "adding more?" Yeah, way to make people take your "system" seriously when you're making it blatantly obvious that you're adding stuff as you go along.

Also, as someone who actually reads Homestuck, I'm pretty fucking sure that most Homestuck fictives have never read the comic and are just going off of bad fanfiction and stuff they see on Tumblr.

By the way, if you happen to chance upon this person's blog, please don't let them know I posted this--they follow my blog for some reason and I really don't want to risk people sending me nasty messages.
If think you actually have killer robots in your brain.
And you think that said killer robots can take control of you at any time.

What in the name of Michael Snyder is AWTOK?
After a search apparently it's a SUPER SECRET organization out to do tests on and kill all "supernaturals":

Off topic:
After watching the video youtube recommended me this guy who thinks he can create spells (I hope Tyce doesn't find out about internet magic, I don't want a skeleton army running amok!)

Remember when Otherkin were just people who thought they were dragons?

Those were the good old days.

Preface: I stay away from Tumblr and use Twitter very minimally - following only a handful of people - so until I started reading threads here about groups entrenched in these places, I didn't have a good grasp of how things like (hash)tags are being used these days. Don't read the following if you get bored easily.

I haven't gazed upon otherkin for some four or five years, since the last period of my life where I spent a lot of time reading Encyclopedia Dramatica. A lot has changed, or enlarged, since then. Reading what you guys dig up/discuss/parody has made me think that a lot of this might reflect how technology is affecting how human beings think.

Most specifically, I'm talking about tags/hashtags. In some otherkin examples, it seems, they are meant to denote whichever "speaker" is out and about. A lot of (Western) experience includes categorization, usually implicit, and has done so since antiquity. Electronic categorization is, at present, external to our human function, and so has to be explicit.

Earlier in computing history, this was less fluid. Hence classes in object-oriented programming, hierarchical filesystems, and single-purpose sites/domains/TLDs. As time goes on, we see not only the categories becoming able to overlap (Java's interfaces, tagging, and social media, to extend previous examples), but the medium becoming the message.

We see people's tags becoming the main content of what they say; hell, we see people "hashtagging" in actual speech; we see domain names that have "deeper meaning" built in (stuff like cishets.dontknow.me or touchmy.phantom.galactic.co
ck); we see people reflecting who they are in the same fashion. Where it was once enough to say a few important things about oneself and maybe even let the content of one's messages speak, transactions are becoming more "atomic" (self-contained) so that every message has to inform all parties to the greatest possible extent. In some cases, the catrgory is all that needs to be said.

Not that this is a totally new phenomenon, but looking at it like this is helping me cope with the rotating play of identities we're seeing here. I admit I'm always changing, so I don't like to try to pin myself down with more than a few concrete descriptors. These are usually things society finds acceptable, like my greatest interests or my profession. The kind of thing you say when people ask you "what you do" at boring parties. The rest I leave mostly private unless someone asks the right question or communicates something to me that strikes me. These guys, and I guess SJWs and many others, are using many concrete(? or just very specific?) things to describe themselves, but adding and dropping them in a way that is itself pretty fluid. Maybe even just as meaningless as my replies to people at boring parties...

I'm working on the preliminaries for a novel that explores the circular nature of the unified and the individual, so this kind of thing is on my mind a lot lately. #transnoveljavakin

When I first heard of otherkin and fictionkin, I was like okay whatever live and let live. And then I did some digging and saw how many of them basically equate being otherkin to being transgender. That's pretty fucked up. Last time I look nobody was getting denied jobs, beaten up, murdered or disowned for identifying as a cloud on tumblr.com. And yet tumblr puts up with them completely appropriating trans peoples struggles because everyone knows if you say something about it, you'll be bullied off the site for being an /abuser/ which seems to be the blanket term now for "anyone who questions me"..

Can't tell if this is more appropriate here or in the SJW thread but since it involves otherkin might as well post it here.

I should also state for the sake of transparency that kingofspriters13 is me
