Which is just "I think about having X body part really hard" and then they tense their muscles in that area, causing sensation that they delude themselves into thinking extends beyond their real body.

You can have phantom claws RIGHT NOW if you do that with your fingers.

Naw, it's more "I make a really bad human being, if I was something else I would totally do better...maybe...not really" and then "something else" is filled in with "I really like X" and/or "I see lots of people doing Y".

Oh, you have no idea how hard it is. But Lou Fernandez does. Listen to his (NSFW) golden radio tones as they tell you all about vampire awakenings and how much they do (or don't) suck. Then laugh your sides into orbit.

(Seriously though, Lou Reads the Internet for You! is my second-favorite podcast, but he reads some fucked-up shit, so always assume that it's NSFW until proven otherwise.)

I had to take four separate screenshots to capture this person's entire "system," Jesus fuck. And "adding more?" Yeah, way to make people take your "system" seriously when you're making it blatantly obvious that you're adding stuff as you go along.

Also, as someone who actually reads Homestuck, I'm pretty fucking sure that most Homestuck fictives have never read the comic and are just going off of bad fanfiction and stuff they see on Tumblr.

By the way, if you happen to chance upon this person's blog, please don't let them know I posted this--they follow my blog for some reason and I really don't want to risk people sending me nasty messages.
