I love how he still blames MLW in her letter. Right now he is just asking for another tresspassing notice.
Now that he broke up with Catie will he recant his apoligies?

By writing these letters she is admitting to doing something wrong. Chris has been seen to be a really egotistical person, she's ALWAYS RIGHT.
Yes he is admitting to doing something wrong, but didn't do it out of the guilt in his heart. He most likely wrote these in his pursuit of unbanning him from stores.

He wouldn't bother. Getting access to these places still feels good. It's just that he doesn't have the motivation to initiate an apology anymore, now that Catie's gone.

Back when I was in high school in the mid to late 90s (before everyone had convenient access to computers) we were taught that formal letters were to be written in cursive on blank white paper. You could put lined paper behind the blank sheet while writing to keep your sentences even. I imagine that is why Chris hand wrote the letters on blank paper. You young'uns don't even know how great you have it, you were so close to not being able to type everything.

I think you're on to something, notice the return address in the upper right hand corner and the formal date underneath, that's an old letter-writing formality.

Now that I think about it, I believe he also tried to convince Alec in one of the phone calls that hand-writing a letter had "more personality" than typing one, IIRC. I think it was when they were arguing over whether using a tablet constituted 'hand-drawing' a comic.

You see no change because you don't want him to change. I see a lot of comments like "I miss the classic Chris."
If Chris was out being productive with his life maybe. He's spends his time on a computer running a Facebook campaign against a fiction hedgehog's arm color. Sure he might go out like he did on Halloween, but all you have to do is look at his Facebook profile. Only a couple of non-related Sonic things on there. Chris can't change because he refuses to do so. He'll always look for the easy way out.

He really does think girlfriends solve everything doesn't he? Once he decided she was his girlfriend he expected everything he didn't like, like bans, to go away.

I wonder if he thinks having a girlfriend will get Sonic's arms tan again too?

Well if you ever need a physical example of pure atismu here it is.

Frankly it amazes me that Fatty has been banned from pretty much every place he visits on a regular basis. That sure says a lot about him as a person.

I would call them baby steps. Sure she hasn't changed much but she appears to be learning little by little.

Most of the stuff I thought has already been said, but that Sailor Moon thing in the MLW letter is insane. Like she would read that and think, "you know, I never considered it before but I was acting just like the villains in the anime Sailor Moon."

So, even if Chris thought he was being bold and defiant by returning to the Walmart where he was banned for vandalizing the XBox display and the Magic Mike DVDs, he wasn't. He just happened to go in and get what he needed, and no one in management or security remembered him, or cared that he came back.

This is a selective reading. There are just as many people here who cheered him on with his e-business and were happy to see him party on Halloween.
