He seems particularly mad that a game meant to play for fun isn't exploring the whole of the prejudice in the era... like it's something shocking or new to the characters involved that they'd desperately try to understand and figure it out. Although his statement about white privilege is concerning, that someone goes on about it in the game mostly because I'd figure that shit would be called White Man's Burden back then. Also probably ignores the Native American people weren't so innocent, too, but eh. So long as I get to tie people up on train tracks.

It's the old west, everyone had their own justification... that justification being a firearm of a particular purpose.

Of course /v/ is hating this game for being western and popular

Has there been any info so far for any Red Dead Revolver characters? I wanna see Red Harlow one last time.

nu-/v/, the old vanguard of /v/ has already dissipated following the split.
In the world of /v/, a game can only be good if it's eurojank, japanese, or old. And they'll probably use Revolver shit in Online

So is "Dastardly" still in the game? I suspect you'd be able to tie males to the track this time as well lest Rockstar face the wrath of Sarkeesian once more.
I'd love it if the Achievement was Dastardly and Reverse Dastardly. Oh the fun that would bring.

Eh, both sides in that are cringey as fuck.

That said, didn't stop me from beating a bounty that was a women every time she opened her yap. Victim of society my ass, bitch I saw what you did. Then there were two sheriffs driving a violent foreigner screaming at them in Spanish that she's gonna kill them all. I was gonna help her, but... ya know, the whole screaming that she was gonna murder everyone kind of convinced me not to. It's almost like you gotta pick your battles or something...

Out of curiosity, does it approach 1890s women in a cringy way, or a more self-aware way, like Franklin's aunt in GTA5?

Update: This is it? The game makes it super clear that Arthur finds them annoying. This is not much different from Reyes' revolt in RDR1.
People were making this sound like Ubisoft-tier faggotry

What are the other two? I'm guessing crime is one of them
Gladiatorial combat - fighting for your freedom in the arena - and pirates -- sailing the seas and plundering be ye privateer or a terror upon the seven seas.
Probably horses.. :tomgirl:
Horses are beautiful and majestic creatures that we export as meat to third world nations. What's not to love?

I was referring to the comment war in that thread, /leftypol/ is just as bad as regular /pol/. Only difference is I can trust a /pol/lack to leave his politics on the internet and anonymous. I was expecting the suffragettes to be pretty neutral since Houser already said that going too far left or right is bad for business and just bad for your soul. So long as Houser remains in charge I can trust decent jabs in their video games.

Already posted the actual clips of the voter mission, Arthur tells one of them that they're loud enough for the entire town to hear and Arthur himself seems super apathetic towards them. It's basically the same as Frank's crazy aunt in GTA5

I'm guessing the user score on RDR's metacritic page is similar to MHW's back in January, where the negatives are a combination of PC trolls and squeakers expecting "GTA with horses"

Mostly the former I think. On the gaming communities I frequent there's a lot of butthurt rigfags.

I see the latter too though, people saying "ugh it's so boring", giving the impression that they probably didn't play enough of the original to know that it's slower and more methodical than GTA

What's funny was that Red Dead Redemption was able to get me hooked more than the Grand Theft Auto games. I can tell the GTA games were well done, but I could never stick around long enough to stay hooked. Red Dead Redemption was the exception to that rule.

This game will be amazing.
