He said in one of the Kat streams that when he goes out, he is "well protected".... I still do not know what he meant by that?

Sounds like he's implying he has either got security or is allowed to carry a concealed weapon? I'm not American so I'm not sure which states allow this. Last I heard though it wasn't every state and don't you need special permission?

Either way he's talking out his ass again. But I am interested if he'd legally be allowed to carry a concealed.

He lives in a state with strict anti-gun laws. So he's full of it.

It varies by state. There are basically shall-issue states that require the government to prove that you shouldn't be allowed to carry a concealed weapon, and may-issue states that require the applicant to prove that they have a valid need to carry.

Given how whacky the west coast tends to be, I was very surprised to learn that Washington is a shall-issue state. So he actually could be able to carry a concealed gun, but he's probably full of shit. If not, he'll most likely either accidentally shoot Kat, or have the gun taken away and used against him.

Got a little curious so decided to look it up a bit.

Washington in terms of concealed carry is a "Shall-issue" state. Basically just meet a list of criteria, don't even need training, and once you have completed a background check you'll have a permit to carry concealed. Or if you don't want to bother with obtaining said permit you can Open-carry without a permit. When you look into Gun laws in WA they're actually not all that bad in comparison to a place like CA for example.

So in the scheme of things it wouldn't be hard for DSP to be "well protected" in terms of carrying on him when he goes out.

But I don't think DSP is doing any of this I think the well-protected thing is just him talking out of his ass like usual. By well-protected probably just means he's always keeping an eye out for a place to hide if confrontation happens.

Plus it's hard to believe that Dave is a decent shooter with a gun, seeing his gun gameplay in FPS games where he can't aim for shit at a target.

I'm curious. Lets imagine for a second Phil wanted to carry a weapon. Wouldn't his depression affect his chances of a permit? Depression is a mental health issue and in America today surely that would affect his legal chances wouldn't they? I'm genuinely curious.

But, just in case someone here takes this as us thinking Phil is packing heat.

THIS IS SPECULATIVE CONVERSATION

None of us know. And hopefully nobody here is planning to find out for sure.

For things like depression, unless you've been proven to be a risk to yourself and others, it will have no affect in your obtaining a firearm and being able to carry one concealed.

apparently, Dave's Twitch payment cleared and he is very hyped up on the second stream right now.
Motormouth is in effect - he's going a million miles a minute because of sweet $$$ in the bank.

Lets wait for the next EmergenREE - any bets?
:stress:

Yeah, he is just rattling on and on. Compared to the commentary of the same game the other night, he won't shut up.

Someone in chat mentioned their PS4 was stolen and he went on a big rant about how it reminded him of the time that he was scammed while trying to sell one of his 'surplus XBoxes'. It was completely disconnected.

In other news, his mention of the earlier prestream of his potential to marry Kat and his revisiting how awesome she is this evening lead me to ponder if, as some of us were guessing earlier this year, he was manufacturing some desperation to drum up money for an engagement ring. I bet he's getting his ducks in a row to get one for a Very Special Christmas Proposal. It won't be revealed until after the tax begging in December, but I bet by January, we'll be heading into the Legitimate Engagement Saga.

EDIT: He just won a match by camping the shit out of it. He is just on fire tonight. Clapping into the mic, "wooo"s... our boy Dave is indomitable. Empowered by Kat's Sloppy Joes, Tut's 'sloppy joe', and a Twitch payment.

so we're getting an official redemption run of the engagement saga? Wau.
I can totally see him announce it in January "after an amazing PAHSITIVE year i decided to ask KHET to be my wife"

breakup depression saga rerun when?

Sadly, with how quiet Kat is and has been in regards to everything. She may actually be sad enough to marry him.

Reeanna grew up and wised up. Kat is fully grown, hard to say if she wants better or not.

Man, watching his reaction to winning, his reaction to people suggesting he try camping less ("It's my style!" "How I about I keep doing what is winning?")... the only thing more obnoxious than Dave losing, is Dave winning.

For everyone wondering, Dave showed the axes in an old house tour around Christmas time. It was in one of Tevin’s videos.

So, Phil is talking about the possibility of marrying Kat, huh? A couple of things:
  • What happened to the whole “my debts will become her debts, dood” excuse for not being able to marry Leanna?
  • Given the speculation of Kat’s gold digger status, and considering the amount of money Phil has had thrown at him this year, she would most likely be entitled to alimony in the event of a divorce.
