I love "Even Linkara" like he's some legendary figure. Tom Cruise, Will Smith, the fat dude in a Power Rangers costume.

That and I never got why people bitched about that video. Dude gets paid by ads and adblock hurts his cash flow. Not like he was begging for money.

That's mostly because Linkara is a little git. When you consider comics are a dying industry (in print, anyways) you can see how his role is even more negligible. There is also the fact that he often doesn't know shit about what he's reviewing and is doing it purely because it seems like an easy target for laughs.

he was kinda suggesting mute the ads then have people do something else, kinda like cheating the advertising companies , but yea, I wonder if he was separated at birth from Chris or not.

So... do what most people do anyway. I'm not a huge fan of the dude but if some of his fans will listen to this and it'll make him a buck then I don't see why some people freaked out when it happened.

But whatevs, to each their own. Sorry for derailing the Cole thread. Apparently he gave Drunken Master 2 an A+. While a great movie I don't think it matches Jackie Chan's better action comedies like the Police Story series (well the first 4 before it got serious). In a total "lose street cred" moment he used the American title "Legend of the Drunken Fist" as opposed to the actual title. As a movie nerd this just makes him look like a poser.

What amazes me about this list is how he puts his retarded opinions right next to respectable ones. Granted, most of the movies on his list aren't bad but I don't think his number 20 "Night of the Living Dead" compared with AFI's 20 "It's a Wonderful Life". I just feel that edge factor.

Even a broken clock is right twice I day. I will not hear you disparaging of Drunken Master 2. That's a fucking CLASSIC kung fu movie and has unforgettable choreography. And someone's opinion of a movie isn't invalidated by not knowing the foreign title. That's something Cole would say.

I disagree. As mentioned while good I'd gladly pick any of the Police Story movies over Drunken Master 2. I don't deny that it's a classic but there are quite a few Chinese action movies I'd rank above it.

As for the title, that was bitching to bitch. I won't deny that was me just sperging about.

... can't tell if sarcasm or not. I'll assume so because the post implies Shanghai Knights gets an A+ and nobody is that cray.

EDIT- Ending the derail. Apparently he gave The Story of Film: An Odyssey a D. Kind of baffled by this. Not my favorite documentary but to give it such a low grade baffles me.
