Modern wrestling fans are the worst. OSW posted a tribute to Chuck Norris and every other comment bashes him because of his beliefs.

crazy how this is the least bad take here, the only criticism I even have of current WWE is that its a bit too formulaic and predictable, I understand that WWE mostly is booking for casuals who dont pay attention to twitter, Gunther is Kino, greatest Nazi-Coded Heel of all time

I stopped watching for years, i just came back with the whole rock, cody wrestlemania stuff that was fun.

I just recently started watching clips of it and barely, i could not imagine sitting there hate watching this shit for 3-6 hours weekly.

I swear Triple H uses WWE 2K Universe Mode to book his shows

As much as you want to romanticize CM Punk, the fact of the matter is that even at his peak he wasn't selling tickets or pay per views.
Never mind the drug scandal, Chris Benoit, taking the teeth out of wrestling during the PG era, and super Cena for years and years, people just stopped watching because fragile Phil took his ball and went home. That makes sense. So by that logic when are the millions of fans that fell off coming back now that Punk is champ? Oh.

That makes sense, since WWE 2K Universe Mode has been a buggy mess for ages that they won't fix, because it would take away dev time from the Pay-2-Win modes like the Battle Ringside Pass, MyFaction, and The Island,

Would WWE 2K YouTubers do a better booking job at this rate though?

These guys love to flip-flop their opinions whenever it suits them. I've seen this type of behavior many times in the comments section of wrestling sites where they always act like moralfaggots or armchair analysts in order to look good.

I didn't even think about it that way. He started something with a guy half his size that just finished up a match where he went through the windshield of a car, which was real glass, before the guy could even catch his breath.
Did Child Mutilator Punk who was completely fresh and not gassed use that to his advantage and take a swing? Of course not. 100% Yes I think a good 80% of wwe 2k youtubers who do universe mode/booking like MurfsYT13 would absolutely be better booking wwe but also the backstage suits would probably get his ass fired for thinking outside the box.

I don't know whats up with the writers/booking backstage but it's defintely some weird nervous political game of retardation.
