I don't hate conservatism but when a new party hijacks the group its kinda hard not to. I used to be a pretty middle ground conservative with some progressive views but I jumped ship back in 2016 because honestly i don't want to be associated with a failed businessman who thinks he knows politics.

I don't know, is Trump a conservative? I'll challenge you to list three things he's trying to conserve. To me, a person who's read communist literature, Trump is a mix of Lenin and Stalin. Most of his economic policies are leftist.
In general, "conservatives" support him, so it's natural to dislike them if we also dislike Trump here. I don't dislike conservatives because I don't consider Trump or his supporters conservatives. I wouldn't even call the modern conservative ideology "conservativism" anymore. They don't even want to conserve the only planet we live in. When covid-19 came around, it was mostly "small government" conservative senators who lined their pockets with COVID gibs, so they're not even fiscally conservative. They'll modify their vehicles to be less energy efficient just to "pwn the libs", so they're certainly not conserving resources (and they want endless wars).

Do they conserve anything? No, conserving the Epstein Files doesn't count.

Well, regarding climate policy, many conservatives are opposed to excessive climate and environmental policies, although not all, but they try to do something about it and preserve some of the fundamentals of ecology and environmental protection, the essential foundations. Trump completely rejects and eliminates it, taking it to the point of absurdity as a populist. He simply reduces it to zero, and for him, it no longer exists. Well, raping and killing children is not conservative either. And besides that, he is also a neo-fascist, but in the history of the world there has probably never been and will never be a more stupid neo-fascist than Donald Trump. He is also a philo-Semite, a Zionist, anti-Latin, anti-islam, an imperialist, an expansionist, a colonialist, and an elitist who supports extreme free markets, billionaires, and extreme social stratification at the expense of the poorer rest of society and of course a supporter of the USA as a servant of Israel (although many other American politicians support this too, even many from the Democratic Party, and unconditionally, but Trump and Graham support him much more and to the point of complete absurdity). From the basic definition, what has Trump actually conserved? If he’s a populist he wouldn’t be actively screwing over everyone who isn’t a billionaire or Israeli. He’s just a kleptocrat caudillo. Regardless of what he considers himself, those are his actions. If anyone has benefited from his policies who aren’t friends or family, it is entirely coincidental. I mean actually beneficial, not hyuck hyucking about ownin’ da libs while getting screwed.
