The administration wants to destroy the ICC for this very reason. Trump is old enough that he might die in office, but even the most remote possibility that anyone else in the gang might step off a plane in Paris fifteen years from now and get put in cuffs by airport security is intolerable.

This wouldn't be an issue if the United States had stuck to the "Iran deal," but Trump nixed that. The next administration stuck to Trump's position, that a nuclear and missile agreement had to be negotiated as a single package. Another thing that made progress impossible in Biden's time was that Iranian negotiators were demanding some kind of mechanism to stop the US from doing the same thing in the future, and neither the US nor Europe were willing (or able) to do that. They basically told the Iranians again and again that any agreement made with the US would only last as long as Democrats controlled the White House, and Europeans would be unable to step in (making them totally superfluous).

This, by the way, is why Russia is demanding that the whole of Donbass be turned over to them. Since the West has demonstrated that it can't be relied on to stick to an agreement, something major and material has to be given to Russia as a sign of good faith.

I thought the issue was that Iran would launch their nukes at America or Israel as soon as they could because “death to Satan”. Which is what a deal would lead to. At least that’s what I believe Trump said.

Except that the concern with Putin was that he wants to turn all of Europe into a second Soviet Union/Russian Empire, which is why a big deal is made of the US and the EU being at odds over it because Trump wants to give concessions and Europe has said “Putin gets nothing, these games end with Putin’s death. Glory to Ukraine !”

No, the only difference is that Trump simply wants to end the war in Ukraine as quickly as possible, while Europe wants to end it only if Ukraine wins. And the conflict with Europe is primarily not about that, but about Trump's unpredictability, threats to allies, and lack of reliance on the United States, which is no longer a reliable and predictable partner.
