The small chance of them being able to retain their regime just vanished. They may have been able to cling on as a limbless shell before, but this has proven that they don't value anyone as an ally.

No. Really. Why haven't they? Iran threatened to close the waterway if someone so much as spoke harshly to them. You'd think at some point they would have that shit set up to deploy on a moments notice for this EXACT scenario. I know sandniggers are dumb but come on...Idk what took them so long? That would've been my first step if I was waging total war.
Would love to see how the PLA runs off solar.View attachment 8682065

Only 14% of their energy utilization comes from oil and of that only about 6-8% of that comes from the strait. They also have a 3 month strategic reserve. Its going to fuck over Korea, Japan and Germany far more
Because for the Israeli's, bombing Iran is far more important than the cost of oil going up. It makes sense given the proximity and whatnot but they're going to listen to America since we're the ones who control them and ensure their existence. If you think we don't control them then you overestimate how powerful AIPAC is and underestimate how much of it (in reference to being part of or supporting AIPAC) is just a performance done by American politicians to get money and connections. Why are they like this?
dk what took them so long? That would've been my first step if I was waging total war.
The play here is to send the oil prices higher by introducing uncertainty now that the Navy confirmed they are not going to escort ships (the Constellation would have been useful, just saying) This is not yet total war, the metaphorical nuclear option for Iran is GCC desalination plants. There's still an escalation ladder. They'll probably throw a few mines, tell every journalist and show photos, and watch the market move. We'll see how it plays and how resilient global markets are to that, nobody knows tbqh. Could work for Iran or not.No. Really. Why haven't they? With the Chinese stats, I'm a bit sceptical about only 14% of oil being used in China. Kind of ironic to see China using more coal btw.View attachment 8682065

It is like planting landmines at your frontdoor, you are also trapped also it won't make a difference yours still getting carpet bombed.No. Really. Why haven't they? thats just the first 2 days, I wonder what we are up to now. Prayers to all those service members and hope they heal up quick and get full VA support, undeclared war is hell.
It's an absolute last resort and unlike a blockade of the strait (seriously, guys, it's not "straight", it's "strait") they can't make demands and then cut it out when they get what they want, those mines are there.Idk what took them so long? That would've been my first step if I was waging total war.
I thought the whole navy was already gone?
Guess we are still chipping away at it

They HAVE to get Trump to stop giving updates on this shit, everything he says is wrong, dude went on a 2 hour press conference and shouted that that navy was completely destroyed like 12 times and said we are wrapping up now, just patently false.

Technically, Leavitt said that there have been no escorts yet, but they're looking into them.the Navy confirmed they are not going to escort ships
It's an absolute Hail Mary strategy that relies on Trump and Israel cracking to the pressure of people screaming about oil prices, but neither has given any indication that they really care. Trump even called people panicking foolish when the prices spiked on Sunday. Mining the Strait would force corporations into looking to real alternatives rather than just sitting around twirling their thumbs. Prices would eventually settle as supply lines are established (Aramco has already said it can get back to around 85% production via the Red Sea in just a few days), and they would have blown their only play with little to show for it.Could work for Iran or not.
America keeping total dominance over the most import shipping lane in the world with an enemy living near it and two other enemies interested in it seems really unlikely.Trump should say that if any russian or chinese mines are found in the strait he will permanetly ban their ships from using it once it belongs to us. I know that wont happen but it is my based alternate reality skitzo dream.
Holy shit it’s Sami Zayn
Energy isn’t the only thing they’re importing oil for dude.View attachment 8682065

35 percent of their oil supply is gone. This is a minimum.
U.S. forces are degrading the Iranian regime's ability to project power at sea and harass international shipping. For years, Iranian forces have threatened freedom of navigation in waters essential to American, regional and global security and prosperity.
