I'll be surprised if Iran isn't crushed in three weeks, much less three months. Pretty sure Israel's latest estimate says they expect this to go on no longer than five weeks at the max, and Israel is way more invested in blowing up every single little thing than America is.
I would be inclined to think so but I'm getting strong vibes of "jUsT TwO MoRe wEeKs" on this one.

This is why. It only took a couple hours before global emergency reserves were opened. That doesn't fix anything.

I know it's the IAF doing this shit, but Trump has to rein them in, you start hitting civilian infrastructure and you will tie the opposition with the regime.
Rabbi Löw is rampaging through Iran and the Golem has to reign him in.

US oil that is used in the US comes from the US; that said we do process a lot of Middle-Eastern oil here in the states and then have it sold elsewhere.
Oil is a global commodity. When it becomes more profitable to ship oil overseas than to sell it domestically, the price will affect America too. If by some administrative fiat that does not happen, then all your imports still become more expensive and your trade partners can buy less of your stuff.

Isn't MIT as hollowed out as any other US university, why should anyone give this any attention?

My personal opinion is that all lecturers should put the differential equations in the bag and not try to be pseudoscientific "experts" for clout and money.

edit: to expand a bit, this seems related to Gell-Mann Amnesia, in that you recognize that he's wrong about certain things but assume he's correct about other things, when there's no reason to do so (since his credentials are now in the mud thanks to universities being ideologically captured in all departments).

Significant damage can be seen at Bandar Abbas, Iran's southern port. The area was struck 16 times by the US on Sunday.

US/Israeli strikes against Tehran, Iran.

An empty ATACMS (Army Tactical Missile System) missile launch container has reportedly been found in the deserts of Kuwait, raising speculation that U.S. forces may be launching HIMARS strikes toward Iran from Kuwaiti territory. ATACMS is a U.S. short-range tactical ballistic missile fired from HIMARS or MLRS platforms. The system can hit targets at distances of up to about 300 km depending on the variant.

Iran’s IRGC missile campaign declined by ~89%. Its drone saturation campaign did not

Three GCC cases support the trend:

🇦🇪 UAE: 89% down (148 to 17)
🇧🇭 Bahrain: 82% down (45 to 8 on Mar 7)
🇸🇦 KSA: 83% down (6 on Mar 6 to 1 on Mar 8)

Yet drones tell another story (~75% share):

🇦🇪 UAE: ~21% down (148 to 117), with daily volume stabilizing at 112–131
🇧🇭 Bahrain: +44% (9 to 13), with daily volume fluctuating between 8 & 32
🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia: (2 to 37), a late surge with lower overall volume peaking on Mar 7–8

This shows:

🚀 IRGC missile tempo degraded under stockpile stress and launcher attrition.
🆗 Drone saturation remained sustainable during this phase
🆗 Interceptor inventory remained under sustained pressure
🔄 The campaign adapted under heavy US-Israeli pressure

I'm kinda surprised there's anything of military value left in Tehran to bomb.
There's still a lot of Basij and police stations to blow up. We bombed an optics factory so we're moving down the list methodically.

Imagine you are Delcy, the leader of Venezuela, and you are wondering "Did I do the right thing? Was cucking to America really the best choice" and then turning on the news to see Iran covered in smoke and flames, realizing that at least a third of that ordinance had been ear marked for your country had you opted to fight.

Their focus on Solar and Battery tech has likely been informed on the idea that Fossil Fuels will not be reliable.
It most certainly has not.
It has been informed by attempting to PR their way into western retarded liberals so they will ingore the number of people arrested for having the wrong politics. The worlds #1 pollutor is immune to Paris Accords limits, so they put out these renewable projects to try to claim they don't need to be emissions limited due to all their renewable generation.
The projects are only profitable because of retarded western "carbon credit" schemes.

China's focus on solar and battery are make work projects aimed at artificially propping up sectors of their economy and serving as "techno nationalist" propaganda pieces that Westerners (particularly green energy worshipers) are all too eager to slurp up.
This right here. They post all these wonderful mockup and stats and plans for the future and destroy the land for the site, and then once the reporter leave everything is left to rot with neglect under maintenance of the most retarted state employees.

China can't replace oil with solar. Oil is 20% of China's total energy use. Solar is 11% of their electricity generation. Solar is 1-2% of China's total energy use. US is 9% solar electricity generation and 3-5% of total energy use btw. Oil is almost 40% of US total energy use, it's numba wan here. Numba wan in China is coal at 60%
Yup. Forget that solar doesn't work at night, there isn't enough of it. China uses it to try to offset some of their fuel use during daylight hours but its not even close to a replacement.

Having interacted with chinese CEOs and supposedly top-notch engineers I'd advise against overestimating their non-dumbness and ability to foresee issues.
I'd say it is very likely they are running around with their hair on fire at the moment and have been since this broke out.
The only issues chinese leaders see is which of their underlings might try to undermine them and make a play for the throne.

:story:

It seems like the more russian, iranian a/o chinese interests suffer, the more these kinds of "American patriots" come unhinged and seethe.. 🤔
It is really curious, isn't it? American's enemies are being flattened, China's long term resource access being throttled, Russia being cucked out yet another ally, and all these "patriotic americans" who refuse to post hands just keep furiously posting the same lies and AI slop.
Just really activates the old almonds.

The Bahraini Ministry of Health announced that an Iranian drone attack that targeted the Sitra area at dawn today has so far resulted in the injury of 32 civilians. Among them are four critical cases, including children whose conditions required surgical intervention.

The ministry stated that all of the injured are Bahraini citizens. The injuries include a 17-year-old girl who suffered severe injuries to the head and eye, and two children aged seven and eight who sustained serious injuries to their lower limbs. The youngest injured victim is a two-month-old infant.
Oh wow look at that totally stable and not all violent chimping niggers Iran launches its weapons not at military bases but civilian areas in an uninvolved country. Huge shocker. Definitely a country we can trust with nukes.

THE ADMIN OF MIDDLE EAST SPECTATOR HAS BEEN ARRESTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought for a moment that Europe had actually ballsed up and arrested a Muslim, but I should have known better.
The fact he's been own-goaled is amazing.

Perun is good shit. I do not always agree with his conclusions, nor do I concur with a lot of his predictions, but his sources are impeccable and he at least uses reasonable logic to arrive at his prediction/conclusion.

lol calm down, even just the futures currently aren't anything dramatic. (~2%-3%) Oil was $~119 an hour ago, now it's $115. This shit is fluctuating and half guessing with the markets closed. 4 years ago it hit the $110s multiple times, hitting $118 for a time in 2022. (As someone points out a few posts down, it's hit the mid ~$140s before in the 00s, I wasn't going back that far but) No meltdowns or economic collapse. Stop dooming and breathe.
This is why Trump ties to do this sort of thing on the weekend.

I wonder what would happen if we just started dropping pallets of M4's, ammo, body armor, and helmets onto Iranian cities.
The rumor is this has already happened.
Once the IRGC has been sufficiently neutralized, whatever metric they intend to use for that, things are very likely to get EXTREMELY spicy.

I'm not sure how they're going to enact total IRGC death if these niggers keep couchsurfing in random people's houses to avoid bombs
With all this chaos, tracking priority targets (officers/commanders) must be getting harder. I wonder how much Iranians living there help with information on regime forces.
You outsource that to the people. Iran has plenty of lampposts.

we have neodymium and gallium. you should know this already.
His brain has been colonized by browns. He knows, but still must repeat their lies.
I don't think he realizes that his precious muslims won't allow him to drink once they take over.

Israel may divert resources from Iran as Hezbollah moves closer to the northern border

Allegedly Hezbollah retains ~20% of their original military capabilities, but that's still 25,000 rockets & missiles along with hundreds capable of reaching Tel Aviv. Along with thousands of Anti-Tank missiles paired with an unknown amount of anti-ship missiles which Israel targeted depots of early on into the first invasion in 2024.
Ah good. Our greatest ally keeping focus on where its needed.

The fact Hezbollah is down to 1/5th its strength is pretty fucking metal. I really hope some of the other armed groups in the country smell blood and finish them off. And may they take as many jews as possible with them as they are scrubbed from the face of the earth.

Iran has been without the internet, besides smuggled Starlink units, for over 200 hours.
Impossible. Clearly fake news. Seething & coping brown hands continue to shit up this thread.

How do you open Hormuz without surrendering to Iran?
Total muslim death. Duh.

Neither Trump nor Israel can do anything to end it now. Iran will stop when they choose.
lol, cope harder. current Iranian regime isn't going be able to choose much of anything shortly.

"Among MAGA"

Wouldn't that automatically remove everyone who feels betrayed by the Iran war? Also, 98%??? Nobody gets a legit 98% on anything. That should've been your first clue that you're being lied to your face.
No one except retarded browns, muslims, and foreigners larping as americans feels betrayed by Iran getting flattened.

textual cope & diarrhea
All I got from that was Iran is too great of a threat to the world economy to be allowed to exist.
Glad you agree they are completely cucked and gay and their weak gay country has been allowed to exist and cause problems for far too long, having mistaken kindness for weakness.

Russia can annihilate every major US city with its nuclear arsenal. Do you believe that makes Russia an existential threat to the US that has to be dealt with?
They cannot. Their ICBM stores lack that much punch. Their subs are gay and can only launch MRBMs. They used to be able to have their bomber fleet to menace Europe but not so much anymore.

But while you assertion is BROOOOCS cope, to answer your question: Yes. They have repeated proven themselves too retard and violent to be allowed nuclear arsenal, and are inhabited by a large population of deathcult muslims. Total slav death.

One reason I heard was that Iran was enriching Uranium as a bargaining ship to get the sanctions lifted. In 2014 they did get the JCPOA signed. But I am sure had the Iranians not gotten the JCPOA agreement, they would have been okay with making progress towards a nuclear bomb.
So they signed the Nuclear Nonprolifeation Treaty, then violated the NPT to get another agreement. They then which they never complied with the terms of that agreemnent, resulting in them being declared in violation of the agreement.
But they weren't actually trying to develop a weapon.
Sure Jan.

Why don't you keep the Shabbat? You'd be free from internet retardation that way. I am sure Catch the Rainbow can set you up with a Shabbat goy that flushes your toilet for you on Saturdays.
I'm not Jewish faggot. When I demand total semite death that includes the Jews AND muslims like you.

Post them hands.

  1. If the Kurds are going into Iran, why would we want that to happen and why would the Iranian people (who do largely hate the regime) be fine with this considering that the kurds have a nasty habit of setting up "autonomous zones" and taking away land from any country they can get a foothold in?
  2. If we let the kurds get a foothold in Iran, what's stopping the other ethnic groups in the country such as the Azeris, Arabs, or Baloch (who are literally Bin Ladenite sympathizers) from doing the same thing? Especially considering this would be the balkanization of the country and the end of Iran as we know it, effectively sending 5,000 years of history straight down the drain, I don't imagine the Iranian people would be very happy with getting a rump state out of the ruins of the previous regime.
  3. How exactly do we plan on achieving a regime change from the air if there is no active armed rebellion on the ground to ensure it? At least when Obama went into Libya there was already an armed insurrection against the government that our strikes were aiding and supporting, no such thing exists in Iran as of now, and what of it did exist was already squashed by the regime and the survivors have been terrorized into hiding as of 2 months ago. There is not even any arms flowing to rebel groups inside the country to make this happen from what we currently know, so how will they take back the institutions?
  4. If the Islamic republic is deposed, how exactly will we set up a successor regime (such as a return to the de-facto parliamentary democracy it had previously) without having to marshal resources on the ground in order to make sure this happens successfully and doesn't create a failed state? And how exactly would this differ from previous nation-building policies carried out by previous administrations? Obviously an overthrow means the deposing of basically their entire current parliament and all of the Islamic republic's state institutions and it would require setting up new ones, and to make sure this is done in a fair manner there would have to be international poll watchers sent there, there'd have to be soldiers guarding these polls and new politicians to make sure remaining regime loyalists don't try to assassinate them or carry out retaliation terror campaigns against voters, etc.
  5. How will the army and law enforcement institutions be restructured, how many resources will have to be marshalled to make sure that is done correctly to prevent Iran from turning into a failed state like Libya did?
1) Kurds already live in Iran. They would be going into the already kurd-occupied areas. We would want them to go in because the Kurds do not do normal Islamic genocide and rape-slaves things. Them getting an automonous zone would be a reward
2) Nothing. But what you forget is that Iran's borders weren't set 5000 years ago. If IRan balkanizes the Persian areas would balkanize under a Persian state.
3) The protesters have been instructed to stay inside and away from government buildings. They seem to be complying. Once the government and its state-control appartatus is gone they will be told to take back their country. If they don't, Trump will just keep killing Ayatollahs till a reasonable one is elected.
4) We won't set one up. We will leave that to the Iranian people. But honestly they have a secure government in place, it is just completely cucked and dominated by the insane pedoworshippers.
5) That will be up to what the Iranians want.

"Sources" say that the Americans are pissed at the Israelis for blowing up so many fuel depots last night.
Daily reminder:
If there isn't a name to go with a quote, its most likely bullshit.

All of it would be used against the upcoming ground invasion.
What ground invasion? Its impossible with current forces. Cope harder as Putin meatgrinders another million million of his own people for no gain.

Channel 12 in Israel is reporting that he's been injured since the first day of the strikes and he hasn't been seen since.

may be already dead and be used as a puppet
Weekend at Khemanie's II

Iran would pull a Weekend at Bearnies. I still need to see that movie
Same bro.

Hope he's ready to get dead.
US helping him out by sending him to Allah.

That already happened, but the capacity to refine it won’t be up for a few more years, so China has a hold on the market for now.

As @Snekposter said, that won't last very long especially if there is a national security need.

Trump has no way to end the war. Iran is going to keep Hormuz closed indefinitely and keep drone striking the energy infrastructure and no amount of MAGA delusional cope is going to change that. This is exactly why everyone with a brain has been shitting on the idea of war with Iran because there is no simple off ramp. The entire globe is going to eat a shit sandwich from these oil prices and by next year food prices are going to be absolutely insane because 30% of the worlds fertilizer (Urea, Sulfur, Ammonia, and Phosphate minerals) passes through Hormuz as well because they're a product of natural gas or made in petrochemical plants in the gulf because of proximity to the source material. The four top impacted zones are India, Brazil, USA and EU in that order from the fertilizer loss. We do not have the ability to scale up domestic production in the space of mere months, most of our petrochemical plants are close to maximum capacity already so American farmers are going to have miserable, expensive harvests because of the cost of diesel and insane prices of fertilizer.
He's got a way to end the war: Total Muslim Death.

The fertilizer going through Hormuz is mostly to mideaset and central asian farms as they try to make shit grow in the desert.

Anyone with a brain has been laughing at your BROOOOCS cope. None of those Multipolar allies are going to help Iran. Its already over, just accept it. You're embarrassing yourself.

The radars for the THAAD have been there for 10 years and the simplest possibility is that Iran was aware. Probably an oversight to not move them. Source
Also he's kind of schizo-yapping and kinda not. It should be obvious to anyone that an actively searching radar can be detected, and that anti-radiation missiles are a direct counter. We used that and strategic bombing against Maduro. He's stating the obvious as if he's an insider and trying to reinforce it Wikipedia info.
They may have also gotten the coordinates from Russia.

"Cooperation" is a two way process.
[...]
You can't threaten allies with tarrifs, insult them and worse one month, then expect them to act in lock step with you the next.
Right, and that's why Trump didn't bother with our worthless EU "allies" since they've been doing that to us since the 80s.

How much longer will it last? According to sources, not "sources", please.
Two more weeks

Did pahlavi's greatest soldiers began to move now? I havent read this thread in a while.

Maduro told her not to fight back using the lyrics of his favorite song:

"Si peace. No crazy war." Trump thought Maduro was being cocky but he was conveying his orders to his government the only way they'd understand: shitty EDM remixes.

God, I miss that stupid bus driver so much. The Ayatollahs don't post dance videos or do interviews while driving around their capital.

Transforming Tehran into a nuclear winter and sending clouds of acid rain into their neighbors is a really dumb fucking idea.

What else do you expect trusting the Israelis of all people? The least serious, most histrionic paranoid people on earth

China controls 98% of the worlds Gallium supply, its not just a throwaway item, Gallium Nitrate is the bleeding edge tech to make modern high powered OTH radar systems
Bro, gallium nitride is used for blue LEDs and consumer switching power supplies these days. It's not some magic ingredient in phased array radars that is required to make them work, it's just part of the power supply of those solid state phased array radar systems. Even if somehow they were to run out of GaN all of a sudden, they could just continue to make them with slightly lower efficiency and frequency using oldschool Si transistors. It sucks for the taxpayers that some expensive equipment got blown up, but it's not like that shit was unobtanium or somehow irreplacable.

Regimes are quiet resilient. Nations underattack usually hold out until the moment everything collapses.

How long until all the Muslims die from the desalination plants being destroyed. Maybe that is the basis of Israel's timeline.
Two more weeks.

They should have let it hit.
But then i reemebered its a Spanish continent so they are doing their best to keep their Muslim overlords from having to fight each other.
