A Mexican federal official says the Mexican army has killed the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel in a military operation

By Fabiola SÁnchez | AP

MEXICO CITY — The Mexican army killed the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, “El Mencho,” in an operation Sunday, a federal official said.
The official, who requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly, said it happened during a military operation in the western state of Jalisco.

It followed several hours of roadblocks with burning vehicles in Jalisco and other states. Such tactics are commonly used by the cartels to block military operations.

The U.S. State Department had offered a reward of up to $15 million for information leading to the arrest of El Mencho.
In February, the Trump administration designated the cartel as a foreign terrorist organization.

There is Ghost Recon Wildlands which is set in Bolivia, and you basically have to conquer a drug cartel region by region. It's top notch military fantasy pron where you're a small squad of operators single handedly destroying a cartel in a huge open world with tons of weaponry available

God, that was a fun game and one of the few things from modern Ubisoft that didn't suck total balls.
>guy asks for RTS gets recommended ubisoft slop shooter

this might be the worst comment i've ever read on this website.
Its actually not slop. Its a solid, fun, co-op experience where you and some buddies run around Bolivia cracking bad jokes as you crack open cartel skulls.

Don't want to derail this thread but Santa Muerte is something very, very new (as in, last 40 years), and the iconography is almost entirely European. Mesoamerican gods of death are not often spooky skeletons, and when they are they don't look like the literal grim reaper, with a scythe, which is a European icon. It was born out of a religious experience a peasant had, which was rejected by the Catholic Church because it seemed more demonic in nature, and the cult has mostly been taking strength recently. I've explained this before but it's basically a demonic cult out of the Satanic Panic more than some syncretic belief. It's also not really practiced by natives who are still by and large the most catholic demographic in Mexico. Syncretism is mostly about patron saints for towns instead of patron gods, and rituals and dances that used to represent native mythology being transformed into dances celebrating the life and birth of Jesus, or His crucifixion, or even events like the Spanish reconquista.
both commies and Freemasons are into this stuff for obvious reasons that involve subversion and cult control.

I find it hilarious that liberals and commies talk about drugs in a way not even the most yellow pilled An Cap ever could.
You see when a forty year old manager at a McDonalds goes through his midlife crisis and craves some of that COCO someone needs to step up. If there is a DEMMAND there will be a SUPPLY. It's the moral and financial duty of the slave farmer to plant and tend to the coco plants. The market DEMANDS and the market OBEYS. That's why the middle man takes the crop, that's why he forces the slaves to process it. That's why someone smuggles it across the border. Every interaction from cutting it with baby powder and fent, to pushing it on kids to ordering hits on your rivals, on the cops. It's all just market action and reaction. If someone needs their coke, well the market needs to peel someone's skin alive if they get in the way.

But don't you apply that logic to healthcare or industry or anything that produces value. Only drogas.
But the Eternal Anglo tries to implement free trade as well as harm reduction policies such as decriminalization against the Qing government's failed war on drugs and all of a sudden they're the bad guys...

I do agree 5.56 is inadequate for punching out to those ranges like in Afghanistan when they hid in the mountains and took pot shots at US troops with 7.62's, leaving US troops ill-equiped to respond. It was/is the reason the US was/is looking at a new larger caliber service rifle the 6.8mm M7 being what I believe they selected. But this issue can be alleviated with the advent of cheap squad level drones that can be launched to both locate via thermal imaging and kill them inexpensively without having to call in air support and wait for it. Arm chair commandering aside I'm doubtful the US will get involved unless something happens at a border crossing, border town or to Americans vacationing, but I highly doubt it would be boots on the ground and more likely cooperation with the Mexican government and military to provide further air support or intelligence. All this being speculation.
Army didn't start looking at 6.8 because of Afghanistan, but because of a fear of peer foes using body armor. (Which doesn't exist, but that's besides the point.) US army has always had access to 7.62x51mm weapons (.308 in civie speak). If the army was really concerned about the ranges encountered in the mountains, they could have bought any number of off the shelf AR10s (which is just an AR-15 chambered in .308). Or frankly any number of full power rifle cartridges in a variety of rifle platforms to hand out.

I saw this floating around on twitter and thought it'd be worth sharing. I have no idea of the veracity of any of it but I think it's interesting.
>You westerners better nawtz do anything to brown people or weeez gon' keeel you with terrorism and sheeit

Frankly the events of 2025 made me extremely skeptical to ever believe this again. Trump crossed lines that for decades have been thought uncrossable and every faction has done nothing but talk a bunch of shit. Fear is their only weapon.

It would be cool if Trump allowed Americans to take our guns and boats over to the various brown owned areas within US sphere of influence and take them over. Not as offical US actions just the individuals own choice. Much like we are not supposed to blame all of Mexico when one sneaks over the border and rapes they can't blame the US government for the actions of an individual.

I don't think the random rednecks and Cajun navy would be able to take over Colombia without more organized plans but they could start by taking over some of the Bahamas out islands and building some proper hotels.

You'd have to get congress to repeal the filibuster act or you'd be vulnerable to prosecution by subsequent govts

Jesus Christ, how horrifying. Every time. And then they vote for the same faggots who ruined their home states.

painfully accurate

just remember, this is why mestizos are the majority population of central and south america
As a member of the Iberian Peninsula I would like to formally apologize for creating the demographics of Latin America. Our bad ya'll.

Not sure about that. Every Democrat I have come across literally tit for tat believes and spits out all their main talking points (troons are women, ICE And borders are evil, etc).
The ugly truth ive noticed is as a white guy its usally white liberals who spin this worldview because they insist it has to be this way the conservatives must be wrong even as they become brown.
Look i feel like a foreigner in my own country and I feel like my people have all been ideologically captured by a sort of rainbow fascism.

The Mexicans are actually killing each other because they did not see their favorite livestream, Mad at the Internet (en Espanol: Enfadado con Internet), on Friday. Without their weekly dose of Ralphtent they become unhinged. The "El Mencho" thing was just a coincidence.
And don’t forget that some of the cartel were tasked in finding who started this kiwifarms thread on Goku just last Tuesday, so El Mencho was actually under protected.

No mention of being glad a kingpin is deleted.
These fuckers are so involved with crime it’s laughable Mexico has the gall to call itself a sovereign nation.

Go ahead pochos, tell me how bad Amerikkka is though.
That's the thing that really gets me about Mexico. You hear about how these people live in fear of these cartels, and yeah, many do...but at the same time they have such a hard on for them. They glorify these fuckers so hard, have whole genres of songs about them. It's laughable. You can't have a nation like that.
