MEXICO CITY — The Mexican army killed the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, “El Mencho,” in an operation Sunday, a federal official said.
The official, who requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly, said it happened during a military operation in the western state of Jalisco.


It followed several hours of roadblocks with burning vehicles in Jalisco and other states. Such tactics are commonly used by the cartels to block military operations.

The U.S. State Department had offered a reward of up to $15 million for information leading to the arrest of El Mencho.
In February, the Trump administration designated the cartel as a foreign terrorist organization.

I found a video of what seems to be a group of dead National Guardsmen after an ambush. There's no gore, but you can see the bullet holes in the vehicles and bodies. RIP. L/A

We tried that in Afghanistan. I'm not saying that this isn't the solution: it absolutely is. The problem comes when the only way to succeed is do something that could be more trouble than its worth. Why don't we just nuke the middle-east for being baby-raping pedophile worshippers? Pussies here would be against it, kikes businessmen would bitch about Greater Israel muh oil, and everyone else in the world would think they're next on the chopping block (because they would be, most of the world being degenerate).

Here. we don't have several landmasses and an ocean separating us. The question is even greater than I think just killing off the cartels. What are we going to do about Mexico? Because this clearly isn't just a small subset of the population anymore.
 
If the Mexican response to a Mexican being killed is to kill other Mexicans is it possible to trigger a sort of Kessler effect where that killing triggers even more killing until all the Mexicans are dead from killing each other?

The Mexicans are actually killing each other because they did not see their favorite livestream, Mad at the Internet (en Espanol: Enfadado con Internet), on Friday. Without their weekly dose of Ralphtent they become unhinged. The "El Mencho" thing was just a coincidence.
 
Keep in mind that MORENA is an alliance of various leftists parties, organizations, and unions who have different opinions about economics, defense, and policy. Obrador was a cartel apologist and Sheinbaum may have some dealings with the CJNG, but the Secretary of Defense, Harfuch, is a massive cartel hawk and he has actually had multiple assassination attempts made against him. I have no doubt that he may have had the aid of the US, but he is ultimately the man who made the decision to take out Mencho.

Anyway, finally got to the apartment. San Pedro in Monterrey is safe, but this part of the country is always going to be. Things seem to be slowing down even in the violent areas, but the consequences of taking out Mencho will be felt in the coming weeks or even years.

After Trump designated the cartels as terrorist organizations I don't remember if it was a green text or someone on Rogan or something like that who said that our military, special forces in particular, are absolutely chomping at the bit for action after the Afghanistan pullout debacle. If some sort of wet back insurgency were to happen because of this, well Dick Cheney and Colin Powell are both fucking dead so I have a sneaking suspicion that the "you break it you own it" mentality is gonna be quite different from the forever war in the middle east.

I think it's unlikely Sheinbaum was dealing with the CJNG specifically, given she picked Harfuch for the job. I'm willing to belive she's a cartel hawk as well.
 
There should be full mobilization at the border right now. Do NOT let a single one of those brown fucks in here trying to run from the mess they made.
