The main reason I think Canadian politicians are open about their corruption is that most Canadians either don't care or straight up welcome it, as long as it isn't amerikkkan corruption. If a more serious country were more open about their corruption, the people would at least protest the gov super often and at most riot and try to overthrow the government (even if this doesn't succeed there still remains a air of genuine resistance). People in Canada are uniquely docile, maybe it's the colonial influence.
If Canada was a serious, sane country, the Liberal Party would have been crushed by the law for being nothing more than a criminal organization long ago.

Salutations, my esteemed compatriots in the noble pursuit of Kiwi Farming.

The populace of this realm seems to be a source of great vexation to the esteemed generations of Canada, as they exhibit behavior reminiscent of unhinged beasts while aspiring to vainly emulate upstanding figures such as Don Cherry, thereby diminishing our nation’s potential; one can only hope that the youthful and emerging generation shall champion a more dignified political discourse akin to that of a Canadian AfD.

I bid you adieu, esteemed companions of the Kiwi Farms endeavor.

Holy shit, I think just came across the most hilariously insilting alternative term for women our institutions have put together yet

Apparently there's a Toronto Public Health initiative they've been requesting funding for lately for "Chest feeding programs for milking humans", fucking milking humans! LMFAO!

And the progressives call chuds misogynistic
"What? Nah, that's stupid. He obviously saw this in some shitpost ragebait meme from /pol/ or something. I'll just google it so that-"

The nukes can't drop soon enough dude holy shit.

Please tell me you aren't retarded and thought me saying "they voted for this" was referring only to the stuff related to Canada and not trumps actions the whole year.

>American state with British in the name
Would be funny
It'd probably get renamed to "North Columbia" or something to that effect

This was posted 6 minutes before the signing even started at 11am, while most people would still be at work. Safe to say there is interest.
To be a negative nancy, this Albertan seperatism stuff is a load of bullshit. Like no one could seriously be thinking one (1) province is peeling away like Quebec. They would have to at least take the other prarie states with them (maybe even BC or the arctic if you want to be all hoi4 strategic about) but that would probably say the quiet part out loud of taking all the real Canadians with you. Forgive my outsider perspective but it just looks like Albertans are trying to reach for the heights of...Bush era American conservatism

As an Albertan, you haven't got 1/64th of a fucking clue.

Alberta has all the necessary resources to be independent, and has been systemically disenfranchised by the Canadian system. We are underrepresented in parliament and may as well not have any presence in the senate. We put in 80% of the budget for the nation. Our values and way of life are constantly declared un-Canadian by the liberal media and the Liberal Party.

Fuck off until you have a ghost of a clue.

Alberta is literally the province with the best economy and and stand alone without assistance. Our politicians have flown to Washington D.C to nail down negotiations for trade agreements, and we have been working on the paperwork to split off public services like the Alberta Pension Plan. Plus, of course, the federal government has basically made it impossible to make our voices heard in elections and has tried to hurt up many times with their insane policies.

Of all the provinces, including Quebec, Alberta has the strongest incentive to leave and the best ability to survive on it's own. Quebec relies on equalisation payments and has a much stronger say in elections - them voting for another party can easily change who the ruling party is for the country - so they don't have the ability or incentive that Alberta does.

What happens next is when it gets interesting. BC will be largely isolated as there are no major highways connecting them to the rest of Canada, and they are the next best off and are drifting to the right in elections. If Alberta ends up going independent and thrives they will likely swing towards separation. I'm not sure about the sentiment in Newfoundland & Labrador, Saskatchewan might jump if they have solid trade agreements with Alberta and the States, nobody else will unless they stop getting equalisation payments or are convinced they will thrive independently
