Some people need a shock/a low point to Actually decide to drop the habit. Mine was almost dying alone in a shithole country, far from my family, because I was a young retard with access to very cheap rhum. I scared my mom shitless, 20 years later i'm crying like a bitch because I feel ashamed I made her live that.

Anyone i can convince to drop the alcojew is a win. Same with drugs, cigs, weed, whatever. Live your life to the fullest without this shit

They don't vote and admit quite a bit to trying to sabotage support for Trump. At least for Spic Fuentes and the groypers. They should be treated as saboteurs.

During Trump's 1st term Spic boy would only get brought up by the mainstream press as a way for the journalists to yell at Trump to denounce White supremacy. He's back as a pied piper to get people to do nothing and get mad when nothing happens (you were doing nothing, what did you expect to happen?)

Happy New Year everybody!

Glad to see that you all had a good/quiet New Year. 2025 while definitely a step in the right direction was still a relatively poor year that I hope we see get moved past this year. My personal hope is that we start seeing economic growth again this year as that is not only a benefit for us, but should give Trump some legs. Personally, my guess is January will be relatively dead on that front, but February we will start to see some movement as yearly budgets are set and H1-B costs go into place. Have a feeling it is going to be slow till late spring/summer, when hopefully a lot of Trump's manufacturing projects complete.

Really hoping to see more growth opportunities in terms of careers and hopefully some drops in apartment costs. My New Years goal heavily centers around these two things.

And to think that 10 years ago, North Carolina was where the trannies won the first great public battle of the bathroom wars. I had other issues with the post. Why should Bibi go to Mass to show solidarity with the Christians when the American national cathedral is Protestant? Putting aside the fact that the Western Wall is a cultural site as well as a religious site that struck me as odd.

RE: Alcohol. I'm 5 years sober and don't miss it one bit. If you're thinking you might need to quit, you're already at a point where you should quit. It's a miserable, terrible, no good, water slide down into hell from there. Might take 6 months, might take 6 years. If you're concerned, scared, confused or embarrassed about it, my DMs are always open. I will never turn away someone earnestly seeking help.

I am "fortunate" enough that, because of the amount of death and tragedy in my family that can be attributed to addictions and vices, I knew to avoid them whenever possible, and therefore never really developed any. I only drank sporadically, and stopped even that for a completely trivial reason (I hate being dirty or sweaty, and a single gin and tonic will have me sodden in sweat within minutes, even in an air conditioned room).

No seriously, let's take the wool off our eyes. Is weed "as bad" as say alcohol or the other drugs that are killing thousands of Americans each year? Of course not, but does that give it a free pass? No.

Take it from me, you CAN be addicted to weed the same way a man can be addicted to sex, video games, or gambling. You CANNOT be addicted to it the same way as alcohol or opioids. Should be obvious right?
Can it ruin your life? Debatable.... Are those lazy potheads lazy because of weed or because they're just lazy? Because I have friends who smoke that are ahead of me in life, and I have family members who smoke who weren't shit before smoking, weren't shit after smoking either.

However I certainly know it doesn't make it better. If someone is a lazy pothead the weed keeps them down, but I will say due to personal experience its not what got them to that point, it just keeps them there.

One defense I will put down for weed however is unlike say nicotine or alcohol I never struggled with "quitting" weed for extended periods of time, yet I had problems putting down the vape.

My point in typing all of this? We as Americans need to have a completely honest conversation about weed, and a logical one. None of the "I hate all druggies its only for niggers anyway" and the "it cures cancer bro" people. NEITHER of these viewpoints solves anything, and just make the mythical status of weed even worse. When a kid sees you rage about weed and tries it with his friends at a party he thinks "man these adults are fucking stupid!" and then doesn't realize that its not good for a developing brain.

There is one thing I completely agree with the anti-weed people on: That's smoking in public. I don't want someone vaping and smoking cigarettes while I eat, I also don't want to smell weed whenever I leave the house when I'm taking a sober break for 6 months. I sure as FUCK don't want to see people smoking infront of their kids. I saw a black woman hotboxing in her car with her no older than 10 year old in the car.

People shouldn't be driving while smoking and slapped with DUI charges...except good luck proving someone is actively high like you can with a breathalyzer and alcohol.. (hopefully tech advances in that area)

It should be legal, highly regulated alongside tobacco, and they need to do SOMETHING about the retardation in Cali and the grow ops there using borderline slave labor.

I will not speak about alcohol. I will only say this: It has ruined multiple family members' lives, and even killed one of them. A few very close family members struggled for a decade, and it took ALOT to bring them back on track.

Happy New Year coming from NC! My state has its issues, but at least we still have some sanity down here, even if NC IMO is one of the more "liberal" southern states, especially compared to SC, Mississippi and the like.



Final note: Kiwis, whether its the bottle, the pipe, or the screen, you do NOT need anything mentioned in these posts to live a happy life. Is it ok to drink alcohol and smoke weed? Contrary to what many will tell you here I say yes. But if you don't have control over your own life and you know addiction is something you struggle with please listen to me when I say its not worth it. You KNOW if you can handle it or not, and if the answer is "maybe" don't keep fucking doing it.
