normally I don't like engaging with you because these end up in slapfights (and it's usually a losing battle to argue with people whose entire religion revolves around tricking God and goyim), but you're either getting sloppy or being disingenuous.
look at it objectively, the holocaust is only required to be taught in 17-30 (depends how you count it) states. It's not part of any federally imposed curriculum.
Looking at it objectively, potentially over half the states in the Union require children to learn about a foreign event, that occurred on foreign soil, to people who
were not American. Not just as an addendum to WWII, but as a separate unit entirely. If a state politician tried to mandate an entire unit dedicated to the Armenian Genocide or Tiananmen Square they'd be laughed out of the fucking room. But you're saying it's fine since it's not the feds mandating it, right?
also, anecdotally, my kids went to school in a state
not in that list and they've been sent home with copies of
Night and Anne Frank. Even if it's not officially mandated it's more or less expected in most states and you know it.
holocaust movies also don't do much
We can sit and debate about exactly how much of an effect they had on the wider public consciousness about Jews and the Holocaust but - since we love speaking objectively here - let's take a look at some stats:
I'm assuming "don't do much" means that the US only contributes
20% of Israel's defense funding instead of 100%. No one in their right mind would argue the TV series didn't play a substantial if not overwhelming part in disseminating the "importance" of the Holocaust to the wider consciousness.
if the jews are so good at PR, why couldn't they get anyone but France and Czech to help them with arms to Israel in 48?
gee golly if the whole world didn't send money and arms to Israel to help them blow up brown people then that must mean they're terrible at PR. Are you forgetting that the entire world sans the US and USSR were still reeling from the most destructive war in history? No, surely it's because Jews are perceived poorly. This is why people get pissed off at you when you play victim; sort out your own fucking problems and stop expecting handouts from the rest of the world.
qatar/russia/AOR are better at PR than Israel
I'm starting to understand what you mean by "bad PR." You're talking specifically about the political sphere further right than neocons. If you want to talk specifically about the alt-right being sympathetic to those countries then fine - I personally do not trust any of them and hope the US treats them similarly. But if you're talking about
in general, your average normie either falls into the pro-Ukraine camp or at least - especially in the case of the older neocon types - negatively perceives those other groups already (Russia's ties to the USSR, Qatar being Muslims, etc.) I think you're butthurt that Israel is losing their influence over American politics with the younger generation, which is understandable and I don't fault you for thinking so. But that isn't bad PR, that's the younger crowd seeing through heeb bullshit.
I'll leave this here since I'd rather not catch a threadban for derailing, even if it is directly related to US politics.
Japan has a habit of reusing WW2 ship names. For a carrier, it's fitting. Well, aircraft carrying cruiser. Legally by their constitution they still can't have a "carrier". So it's "not a carrier" legally ( but it is by role)
The JSDF as a whole is interesting. For those not in the know they're ostensibly not allowed to have a standing army (thanks to the US) which means it has to be considered a "self-defense force," so they're constantly toeing the line on how big their military is and how they use it. During the Biden presidency they looked like they were starting to mobilize since they didn't trust the US to protect them from China, but I wonder how that'll change with Trump in charge and more amicable relations developing.
Its getting heated in the Senate, but we arent there yet.
