As much as there shouldn't be a stigma associated with anyone who needs welfare until they can become self-sufficient again, there needs to be something done to reinforce the idea welfare was never meant to be permanent except for the most extreme of circumstances. With fewer people having kids and fewer of those kids wanting to be in the workforce, the system will ultimately collapse the more people expect and receive indefinite government gibs.
