We trying to depose maduro anyways, I can't see bombing them hurting that goal either. The bombing has to be very precise, and I think we are entirely capable of that. Maybe if they do a good job we let the A10 do a small BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT run as a treat.
The problem is that someone already did a case study on Bombing to Win and it doesn't work unless it's against specific military targets.

Quick edit to add: unless you are really interested, read a review or summary of the linked book. Robert Pape is good but this book is longer than it needs to be.

based. at such an appropriate time too

Gawd I wish that guy wasn't so gay and repulsive, but honestly I think that's just a scripted setup. I'd have written 'someone hire me at a 9-5 normal job'.

THAT is what's impossible to find now. It's getting to the point where it's fast food or tech tycoon. The middle class zone's been dying forever, but to hear 'I don't want that' like that, gross.

My mom started me on reading before preschool, and even as early as the late 80s/early 90s, you would catch shit for that from schools. Luckily, my mom values education more than educators, and would raise holy hell on the occasions when I'd get in actual trouble for being above the curve.
Same, brother. The elementary called my mom bcause I was reading books outside my grade level in the library. She went to bat and said there shouldn't be a problem if they don't have any inappropriate books on the premises. She also taught me cursive and long division by the time I was 4. And people wonder why kids are dumb as a sack of bricks now.
No Conners, either. Neither Kaidens (anything "-aden," really) nor Keiths. There's something terrible and maladaptive that happens to the masculine will of anyone whose name starts with the voiceless velar plosive.
I've learned in life to avoid trusting most J names with anything vital. Sorry, Great Sneeder.

Perfect timing! With their EBT gone and their kang bellies empty, it'll be like shooting fish in a barrel!

To everyone bemoaning the carrier strike group with "Isn't it overkill for X"? The answer is no, because comparable force is saying you'll tie your hands behind your back to avoid hurting them. Its a fools game when the goal is to kill them so hard and so fast that the survivors never dare try this shit again. A carrier group removes any chance that cartel friendlies could report launches from land airbases, and removes hours of travel time in which they know a strike is coming and to act on it. That floating airbase brings laser guided death with minimal warning at a scale they just can't contest, and it will terrify them.

yeah he's basically Jerry Springer, finance edition. all of his financial advice boils down to spend less, make more. it doesn't take an hour to do that

it's fake, but i get to watch shitty people (or shitty fake personas) get scolded for being shitty like in all those shower arguments i have

Now I see why Maduro is freaking out; pleading to Trump:

South American leaders want to talk shit until it's time for Uncle Sam to pay a visit.
It's been awhile since the west kicked some South American ass, all the way back to Fawklands with Thatcher. I support beating their asses again.

I hated scripted reality on TV, and really hate it now, so lazy. Get some people on there that've sent 500 a month applications on indeed.com and all over resumes with degrees and get nothing back at all, then complain. These are all well paid actors.

ETA: It's why I gave up on boogie, it's the same fake setup, same 'oh whoah is me lolcow i'm sad' while they pay $1500 a person per show. I know how that shit works.

Some quick facts and context about Venezuela, despite being a little larger than Texas it has almost 1/3rd the entire united states total natural resource wealth.

Ok now to the drugs coming in from there
1761339064547.png
1761339115722.png

So negligible amounts, literally, come from Venezuela so what ARE they exporting, illegal drug wise?

1761339228567.png

1761339292077.png

And this makes sense because look who they border
1761339334908.png

So this leads to a series of questions

Why are we targeting Venezuela if we want to stop fentanyl we should target Mexico

Ok if you say we want to target cocaine why not target Columbia?

You see the problem? With Mexico and Columbia not dealt with its like we are picking on the street vendor of meth and not his supplier because the street vendor has a gold necklace we want to steal.

isent that George Bush pic great? Ive had the distinct pleasure of living during all 3 of the top 3 funniest US presidents.

Considering how open neoliberals have been about their intention to keep trying until they manage to assassinate Trump, it is a matter of urgency to purge the Secret Service of incompetent DEI hires and other obviously unfit agents so as to restore the agency’s previous standard of excellence. Susan Crabtree finds there is still work to do:
1761336274767.png 1761336151881.png 1761338861776.png

• In early October, a Secret Service Uniformed Division officer fell asleep in public while providing security for the U.N. General Assembly and left his fully automatic rifle unattended while he went to the restroom.

• After Charlie Kirk’s assassination, a Secret Service agent who attributed Kirk’s murder to “karma” in a Facebook post and criticized efforts to eliminate DEI priorities in the federal government was disciplined and placed on administrative leave.
1761339269340.png 1761339294184.jpeg
• Over Labor Day weekend, the Secret Service physically screened a man’s bag but missed a Glock pistol and let him into the Virginia course where Trump was golfing. …
1761339377444.png
• In mid-September, pro-Palestinian protesters confronted Trump at a D.C. restaurant, hurling epithets and calling him “the Hitler of our time” for more than 30 seconds before Trump told his detail to escort them out.

Former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle pushed with all her might to replace merit with DEI. She was forced down after the agency let Thomas Matthew Crooks get off eight shots at Trump in Butler, PA. Yet her chief of staff Darnelly De Jesus is still there:
1761340000068.png
[Current director Sean] Curran has decided to keep De Jesus on his assistant director team. In that role, she oversees all agency misconduct cases and is ultimately charged with signing off on all disciplinary recommendations. …

De Jesus is one of eight assistant directors who comprise the Secret Service’s top-tier leadership team, aside from the deputy director and chief of staff.

De Jesus was…
…one of the agency’s leading architects of and advocates for DEI recruiting and promotion policies.

It seems doubtful that her priorities have changed. She is in a position to make it difficult to purge the Secret Service of DEI hires.

Trump may be counting on God’s grace to keep him alive through the ongoing wave of Democrat violence. But God helps those who help themselves.

Trump likely to name White House ballroom after himself, officials say

Officials are referring to it as "The President Donald J. Trump Ballroom."

President Donald Trump will likely name his new $300 million White House ballroom after himself, according to senior administration officials.

Already, officials are referring to it as "The President Donald J. Trump Ballroom." That name will likely stick, ABC News was told.

Trump has not publicly said what he intends to name the ballroom, but he is known for branding his construction projects after himself -- and it appears this project will be no different.

When asked by ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Mary Bruce on Thursday if he has a name for his ballroom yet, Trump smiled and said: "I won't get into that now."

The entire East Wing of the White House was demolished to make way for Trump's 90,000-square-foot ballroom, new images showed on Thursday.

A White House official confirmed to ABC News that $350 million has been raised for the ballroom project, saying the president "has received such positive and overwhelming support for the ballroom that he continues to receive donations."

The official said construction will still cost $300 million as of now.

The official did not address a question on what Trump plans to do with the additional $50 million raised.

Asked by ABC News White House Correspondent Karen Travers on Thursday how much of his own money he was planning to donate to the ballroom, Trump replied, "Oh, millions of dollars. Yeah.

Well, I also give, you know, I give a lot of money to the White House. The White House is, as you know, I give my salary, and I usually like to steer it to the White House because this house was a little bit abandoned."

ABC News' Hannah Demissie contributed to this report.
