I don't think this roach has even realized people notice he turned the dog into a symbol of his stupidity and evil and that when he glares at her in open hatred, he just intensifies how much people view him as a complete piece of shit. Pure resentment. He doesn't view her as a living animal, but a tool to exploit. And not only has she failed to fulfil the utility he bought her for, she's done the opposite of what he wanted and has become a burden to his career. But at this point he can't get rid of her, and he probably even views her as his only ticket to restoring his reputation, if she could only do her job right and be a good tool again.

Why can't he get rid of her? Just have a non-muslim friend take care of her for a while and use the public criticism as an excuse. Possibly bring her to a kennel for a week or two until the controversy dies down. There's a million ways to spin that he's caving into pressure and despite that he "loves" and "cares for" the dog he will comply with his subscriber's demands and have someone he trust take care of her for a while. Maybe it's someone with a backyard or a farm upstate where she can run and play to her heart's content.

Except he may actually be abusing the dog and that would be blatantly obvious to anyone who cares for her, and they might not keep that knowledge secret.

Spinning it as a necessary reaction to the controversy and the only way to keep her safe would be the most likely choice if he ultimately decides to go down that route. But I think even that might be too much for him. For one, he'll have to admit on some level at least to himself that the situation is no longer in his control, which I think he's narcissistic enough that he thinks he can still salvage this all. And secondly, he'll view it as showing weakness, and he can't let sexpestinty have that over him now, can he?

Maybe at some point he'll finally realize his sunk cost fallacy, but I don't think he's near that stage yet. Looking weak and the possibility of people using it as further evidence that he never really cared about her is going to make that even harder than for most for him to come to terms with it.

No, his videos aren't enough proof for any legal action despite his poor treatment being very obvious. It's kind of like how if you told a story about something stupid and mildly illegal you did on YouTube, you're not going to get charged because you can just say you lied for views.
