"Second "No Kings Day" protests the largest single-day political protest ever*, with 5.2-8.2 million participants
I saw photos and videos all day yesterday of maybe a few hundred fat white retirees wandering around parks in some bigger cities, and today I'm being told they were massive record breaking turnouts in the tens of thousands, and from all races and walks of life.
I'm willing to bet anyone protesting in multiple sites was counted as one person in each site to prop u the numbers to make it look like President Trump is more unpopular than he really is.
This reminds me of a series of commercials that aired on TV when I was younger. I don't recall who was behind it anymore, but it started with a close-up picture of an event or happening that gradually zoomed out to reveal that the larger picture showed something far different with the implication one can't always believe what they see in the media.
Today it feels like the media is doing this very thing by showing select culled images or airing soundbites without full context to make the protests look bigger than they were, or by showing tight close ups to conceal empty spaces or the lack of protestors in some sites. If it's true some media are reposting older pictures and passing them off as new, it only bolsters the belief the media wants to portray anyone it dislikes in the worst light possible - fairness in journalism be damned.
I found the whole thing to be retarded and laughable. Again if Trump was such a threat, why did the Dems insist on putting Biden as their best candidate? Why was an inexperienced mystery meat brown woman allowed to compete against him if Trump was a 'king'? It was a tremendous leadership failure. Why did the democrats loose the house and senate?
From what I understand and read here during the campaign, election law was such that the Democrat's prediential cmpain war chest could only be used by Biden or Harris. If anyone else was selected, that money would have to be refunded and the party start over from scratch.
The Dems losing both parts of congress could have been nothing more than the changing sentiment that comes with every presidential election or two where swing voters get fed up with the current party in power and vote for the other side.
I wonder how much ICE and deportations affected this.
Someone I know who appears to be full time No Kings protestor scoffed at the possibility of illegals participating int he protest. If even
one confirmed illegal alien got arrested, it would be glorious.
I also saw a claim that 22 "MAGA" people were arrested yesterday without sauce. Assuming that figure was true and there were 2500-plus sites across the US, that comes out to one person arrested for every 100 sites. That doesn't exactly sound like the own the No Kings group wants it to be.
