Essentially. But the state department and DHS have strict definitions about what can and cannot be considered an FTO. The first problem is the first word of that. Foreign. Trump gifted Antifa a complete golden lifeline. It is the government’s position that they are a domestic organization. If Rubio tried to designate as a *foreign* org, it would be a legal layup to show that they aren’t. Trump declared them a domestic terror organization. That makes it difficult to impossible for DHS to consider a them a foreign org.

I saw an interesting tweet in replies today and went into a little rabbit hole.

According to this twitter guy, he knew Hasan. Not just knew him but was "best friends" and "roommates" with him 10 years ago in Los Angeles. To the point that he claims Fish was their mutual dog.

His claim isn't really verifiable, but I was curious, so I did some digging on his account. He made it when Covid shutdowns started and has over 3700 tweets.

I decided to scroll through his entire timeline to get a vibe on this guy. I screenshotted every mention of Hasan as well.

What I can tell you is that if this guy is lying, it's a very effortful ruse for not much return. His tweets mentioning knowing Hasan have gotten little to no engagement most of the time. He's been consistent with his story about knowing him and being roommates with him. And generally defends Hasan as a person because he knew him back then. However, 99.9% of his tweets are not about Hasan, it's mostly sports, political stuff, and crypto. And he tweets a LOT, it took me forever to get to the beginning of his timeline. So if this guy is lying, he's doing a lot of work to lie.

Man the Internet is so fake and hollow people like Hasan are just bottom of the barrel. His takes are so fucking shit, but what bothers me most is how shallow and performative he is.

I mean his own fans literally just defend this guy so they can feel "right" like who the fuck Say You can't be opposed to Israeli genocide of Palestinians and call out that piece of shit at the same time. Why the fuck are people like that?

I have a pure bred Belgian Malinois, he was pricey and I can't even imagine making him sit for like 9+ hours in the same spot. I've been through private training with him and I start another course in November. Its pretty fuckin obvious to me he mistreats that dog if he feels the need to shock collar it on a fucking rectangle in his faggot room while he whines on the computer for 9+ hours a day.

Could the argument that they have a lot of operatives in foreign countries help? The Antifa handbook guy fled to Europe and Antifa as a whole started there as well, could that help? Perhaps making the argument that designating them domestic terrorists was a mistake and that they fit FTOs more closely?

This is my opinion about speech from Nazism to Communism. I view all extremist and authoritarian beliefs as a menace to society. However, censorship has never resulted in "bad thoughts" being avoided. The remedy for "bad" speech is MORE speech, not less.
