It's just AI being retarded. The summary is mostly correct, but it's conflating him making earlier comments about French Bulldogs with his current dog which is nothing of the sort. It also picked a picture of what appears to be a Czech Wolfdog of all things (extremely uncommon dog with wolf DNA) to accompany the summary.

He does worse things to the dog off-stream, guaranteed. Be that repeated zappings or beatings I don't know, but the dog's clear hesitance about getting off the raised bed, and her cowed body language when she gets back on, is an indication that she is expecting something more severe.

It is a point of pride for Hasan that this large, powerful working breed be sitting docilely behind him for his entire stream. He has "tamed" this high energy, wandering breed into sitting obediently behind him. Doesn't even need to be tethered down.

Let me tell you something, the second he calls her by name, that dog would have wagged her tail if he was a loving owner. So in my mind even without the shock collar this proves he mistreats that dog.

Also did you catch that he was explaining how his bad net connection is emblematic of all of America's violence? Much irony.

Like, I hate the american government more than probably anyone else, but it's fucking retarded to celebrate the deaths of civilians who did absolutely nothing. Nobody in the government was affected and it only allowed the government to meddle even more in geopolitical affairs than they did before, there's a reason people think it was an inside job. It looks like the dog is laying on a treadmill. He couldn't even be bothered to give the dog a blanket or a comfortable place to lay. The poor dog is restless and scared, terrified to step onto the floor but wants a little attention and affection. She knows damn well what will happen if she dares to leave her tiny designated space. She's set dressing to him and nothing more. Fuck this dude.

That white dot above the main shocking section seems pretty telling, although image quality is not great. As always, take things with a grain of salt but this does seem to be Occam's Razor here.

That being said I think anyone who says this is just a GPS tracking collar for the dog he's trained to sit 8 feet behind him all day is comical at best

Upon further research, yes it is a shock collar and yes, it can be triggered manually from the phone

Unless more evidence presents itself, assuming this is the collar or a similar one, I would say yes it's likely Hasan used a shock collar to torture his dog into an existence of sitting on a barely big enough mat all day as a prop for his stream

Notably if this is the collar he and his mods are knowingly gaslighting and lying by omission (extremely surprising I am sure). Yes it is a collar that uses GPS, but it is also a shock collar.

It is alternatively possibly a shock collar called an Educator with an airtag shoved into it, which is deceptive for the same reasons

Technically, it could be a different Educator model (or a very similar knock-off) and it might not be that exact AirTag holder (but, again, a very similar one). However, you get the idea.
