I'm glad we all have something to get MATI about. I'm mad salty about most of the 80s candidates getting eliminated, but seeing people gripe that games from the early 00s are surely only playable for nostalgia almost makes up for it.

Anyway, Day o' Sex is probably gonna win, same as the /v/ poll: kind of a beige Us Based Hardcore Gamers pick but I can live with it. If one of those Souls-somethings win ima get extra autistic and yell at everyone.

I’d be okay with Tetris winning, it has something for everyone. Are you casual and just want to pick up a game for a few minutes? Play the Game Boy version or whatever’s on your phone. Do you want something more competitive? Play Tetris Effect or Tetris 99. Are you autistic? Play one of the Grand Masters. Do you want something really different? Play Puyo Puyo Tetris, or Tetrisphere, or Batlle Gaiden, or… you get the idea.

I, the turbobased chudcel, play Tetris, my elderly grandmother played Tetris, hyper competitive “study hard differential equation 12 hour day” Asians play Tetris, ‘cordtroon groomer faggots play Tetris, brainrot gen alphers play Tetris, adidas wearing slavs addicted to krokodil play Tetris, wagie rat-race salarymen play Tetris… Everyone can play Tetris. It is a game for everyone yet uncompromising in its vision, simple though it be.

HL2 is promoted more and more than anything I think I've ever seen when it comes to those types of TOP TEN FPS articles. DOOM is a bit too old now for a lot of them to recommend to younger people anyway since it's not true 3D!

Mario is great, but it's for LITERAL CHILDREN (I do love me some Mario tho) and Tetris is for the working man who just wants to have a little bit of fun on his phone during his commute on PUBLIC TRANSIT before insane black niggas made it dangerous to ride the train.

These two MONOLITHS of gaming history are not to be forgotten. DOOM and TETRIS losing would be the Farm's 9/11 tbh

Tetris beats this particular mario but it isn't the end all be all of every game ever, nobody's sitting down to play 5 hours of tetris unless something's wrong with them and the exaltation of old games for historical reasons is just too cringe especially when you can still justify other, better old games being up there because they are genuinely better than modern counterparts. Even putting up Tetris from the 80s instead of any random version of Tetris from the last 40 years that has 50 different fun modes on top of the classic one is an intellectual and moral failure.

Tetris demands excellence from its players. Idk how else to say it but if you’re bad at Tetris you might as well just kys as the shame and guilt would be just too much for any man to take

Deus Ex, a game literally about redpilling as many young Aryans as possible, vs Mario 64, a game about a big-nosed curly-haired coin addict who starts his Super Show with the words "hey paisanos" aka "hello ((fellow whites))". We all know where to put the crosshair.
