They don't, and some blatantly say that "sex" is either vague penetration of anything by anything, or stimulation of general sensitive areas/triggering ASMR which is literally just a general form of physical affection like cuddling and hugging. By that logic, feeling comforted when you're holding hands with someone is likely a sign of sexual attraction. And I'm not joking, I have seen fully grown adults say that things like these make them sexually confused. This is likely why these people pick up all sorts of "queer" labels as opposed to classic monosexual/bisexual identity. They truly don't know how to define their sexuality, because they removed or at least significantly diminished the core of it.

This literally happened in a Degrassi episode. The black kid that calls the pooner a tranny in this episode killed himself IRL a few years ago. The girl who played the pooner quit the show because the binding was hurting her boobs so they killed her off. Then she started an onlyfans.

Even the most hardcore troons in my circles all absolutely fucking loathe "puppygirls" because of them being so sexually harass-y that even other troons find them gross and offputting, with all of them having stories of them trying to pressure them into cybersex or barking at them in Discord VCs. Unfortunately, it seems to be a semi common issue with autistic or extremely sheltered young women especially . Not to powerlevel here, but I was raised in an extremely insular family with limited exposure to other people my age.
As soon as I left home and started meeting actual friends who weren’t cherry-picked church kids my parents had pre-approved, I found myself thinking I had “crushes” on some of them simply because I’d never known what true friendship and bonding felt like and I found myself excited to see and talk to them and had so much in common. It went away once I realized that’s just how human friendship feels.
I can imagine though if you’re a completely brain rotted pooner or troon that this misinterpretation of emotions never really grows past that, with how rampant “polycules” and other weird maladaptive relationship concepts are in these circles
