It's a paid taunt, meaning a gameplay-enhancing item is locked behind a paywall (especially bad since it's ranged and gives Engi a tauntkill when he might not have one in his loadout). It's arguably minor, but it's a bad precedent.Why exactly are people so angry about a new taunt kill? I understand nerfing the range of it since it seemed to be higher than necessary but like who cares besides that?
UPDATE: movement was moved back to the 27th and it seems valve releasing a shitty update has given this a bit of firethought I would raise some awareness that a few prominent tf2 creators and people are going to be hosting a bring back quickplay/fixcasual movement on the 26th. Alongside sending a letter to valve a petition will also be opened up to sign. There is a discord for the movement but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to share it here but here is the twitter post

Edit: Previous range was 500 HU (same as Heavy's finger gun taunt). New range is 170 HU.

In the long run, skin sales (assuming it would be paintable), stranges, and killstreak kits would probably make more money than the amount they'll get for the taunt. Plus, implementing a new weapon would foster significant goodwill with the community, which would indirectly make them money.

I played on the aquarium one, aquarius? I don't know the name but there was a giantic hole to drop down right out of spawn on blue, I of course joined on the last point but I have to assume the levels open up as you capture, but the map itself is fucking maze-like and I think all the medpacks are underwater and hard to find. Select queuing for the new maps is 10+ minutes from what I've heard, these maps will be abandoned by the entire community before August ends.I was playing some of the new maps last night and they are awful. So awful it was actually making making me rage. Huge openings ON FIRST points entire teams can rush through, lasts with shitty chokes, invisible walls everywhere, and some of the most horrendous sight lines I have ever seen. I don 't want to hear fags bitch about sniper when they make maps with worse sightlines than wutville. Why does every mapper nowadays rely on invisible walls instead of just making structures/roofs that are higher than people can rocket/sticky jump to?
Its less so that one update breaks it, but the more maps that get added, the more dilluted the player base is. It progressively takes longer and longer to queue for individual maps with each passing year.See a lot of people say matchmaking is broken, I only join maps through the browser still.
Can anyone confirm it's worse than before the update? I wouldn't imagine it takes that long to connect to new maps the day after an update, right?

here's a small correction, zesty's actually not involved and he's actively distancing himself from it since he knows that these people are retarded apes!The people in the discord don't seem to pander to the troonporium, likely because Zesty is involved in this [stupid waste of time] project, which means that the troonporium trannies likely won't touch the BBQP discord with a 20 foot pole.
