You know what annoys me about the DCU? There were all these complaints about Man of Steel and Batman V Superman over how dark they were. Yet critics are fine if Batman is dark but they have a huge problem if Superman is dark.

That seems to be the main point of contention with the critics. Superman is not allowed to kill and 9/11 imagery is not okay in a movie with Superman in it. But 9/11 imagery is fine in monster/disaster movies like Cloverfield or the new Godzilla.

I disagree. I thought it was handled pretty well. The whole "man kills god because god = Superman" was hurt by Jesse Eisenberg's performance more than anything else.

Nah, you know what my favorite part was in The Dark Knight? That part with the panicky cop next to Jim Gordon in the armored van as the Joker attacks. That was so dark. Darkest shit ever in a Batman movie.

Why in the hell would somebody watch enough preschool shows to make a list of the "worst" ones? And who's gonna watch it? Preschoolers who usually have little sense of quality? Some pages ago I linked to StitchedTogetherPics, a pretty underrated YouTube channel who normally specializes in comparing remakes with their originals and is surprisingly not spergy about it. Plus the guy who runs it is pretty cool. Technically not "angry" but still pretty neat. He's more deserving of an audience than Channel Autist.

Spoony's older stuff is really good, but it's kinda hard to watch because of what he's turned into nowadays. Like I'll occasionally go back and watch it but it's kinda sad to be honest.
