I'd hate to agree but he's right. Most people on the internet agree that the Joker's death in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker is the best death of the Joker.

I do actually agree with the points he makes here. It's pretty solid.

That said, I think it's kind of sad that even when he's being really insightful and bringing up good points I still just want him to shut up.

While I think it's a solid death scene in and of itself and he does raise good points, I sorta prefer the Joker's death in The Dark Knight Returns because of how it felt like the final exclamation point to their rivalry. There's something so chilling about the Joker laughing and breaking his own neck all the way just to spite Batman.

Actually I'm kinda surprised he didn't bring it up considering it's probably one of the better known Joker deaths in the comics.

I like the Arkham City death myself more than the Beyond one. Either that or as mentioned the Dark Knight Returns one.

The death in Dark Knight Returns is great but the one in Batman Beyond is more interesting. Joker fucks with the Bat Family and takes Bruce's adopted son and warps him into a twisted mini me of himself. That's infinitely more fucked up and makes his death even more justified.

Probably doesn't know/care about it. Doeg doesn't strike me as the type who'd obsess over comics. Unlike certain individuals.

This is old and kinda off-topic, but yes, Doug hits the sperg button hard here with the "muh kid's shows are better than adult stuff"

Lol Steven Universe a 'hit'.

I know Doug has autismal v-logs on both Adventure Time and Steven Universe, but it always makes me wonder why he hasn't done one on Bojack Horseman (I know he likes that show too).
Because it's not Tumblr-pandering enough I guess?

There are kids' shows out there that, yes, can be enjoyed by adults (Samurai Jack, the pre-movie SpongeBob seasons, Ren and Stimpy, and Billy and Mandy to name a few) but it's a gross generalization to say ALL these newer kids' shows are better than adult stuff. Especially since in recent years the "adult stuff" has been getting smarter than before; you cannot possibly tell me that kids' shows are able to convey the same depth and complexity as something as, say, Black Mirror or Breaking Bad.

Also, and I'm probably being autistic here but fuck it, these spergs will never convince me these supposed boundary-pushing shows are any better than stuff like Billy and Mandy or Ren and Stimpy, because those shows actually toe the line between being kids' shows and something you'd see on Adult Swim.

BoJack certainly hits on some of the Tumblrite talking points of grappling with depression and finding true happiness. It's just the show gets its kicks out of finding uneasy, morally and emotionally grey solutions, or even no solutions.

LOL Steven Universe better than Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones.
Just because Tumblr tells you it's the greatest thing ever doesn't mean that it is, Doug.

Tumblr hates Game of Thrones cause "misogyny" and maybe Doug has read enough tumblr posts to get his brain washed.

I have no idea what issues could he and tumblr have with breaking Bad, though.
I'm going to guess because everything's all gloomy and it too promotes "misogyny" and drugs?

If not, then to hell if I know, may it's just Tumblr being Tumblrtards again like always.
