So they revealed the new shit and they are going all in on Star Wars slop. An entire expansion dedicated to it.


I thought Bungie's integrity hit rock bottom before but I was wrong. They cannot be mercy killed fast enough because they're going full Fortnite and it's only a matter of time before we have Seth Rogen and Ariana Grande running around in Destiny.

It’s pathetic that even Disney Star Wars feels like an upgrade over Destiny 2’s AI-generated, preachy “story.” At least the new lightsaber model is something fresh compared to the legendary reskins of the exotic swords from The Taken King.

I uninstalled long ago because the general playerbase is toxic and psychotic.

I always knew "We're done with SIVA" was a bluff. Now it, the Plaguelands, and Wrath of the Machine are conveniently back just in time for the last-ditch effort to bring back the people who've moved on to better games

as both a Destiny and Star Wars fan I was utterly horrified by them dedicating an entire expansion to crossover autism, in no way does it make sense, even the biggest Bungie dickriders were pissed off at it, it reeked of soyboy millennial bullshit and also yes most of the playerbase fucking sucks

ehh destiny is kind of one of a kind, i think it's just people that don't want to be on the fucking fomoshit treadmill bungo keeps doing, especially with borderlands 4 being destiny 100% but with randy's cringe injected into it.

The acolyte unironically had less faggotry in it than destiny does. They have more or less retconned every single character into a homosexual and when they ran out of characters to retcon they started adding trannies.
 
I want to like Destiny but I just can't anymore. I tried out the latest episode and now I have closure and can safely say I'm done. Its disappointed but it is what it is, the game has gone from having the player taking down the Taken King with the entire human civilisation at risk, to having to take out an evil robot trying to find a copy of her lesbian lover that will support her evil robot plans, or a family drama between the Hive siblings as we fight for custody over an Echo of Oryx. The scale feels a lot smaller now instead of expanding, factions are irrelevant and everything revolves around just a handful of characters.
 
Destiny is a lesson in game preservation. If you can’t play it offline or host it locally, eventually it’s going to get molested to death by retarded developers
 
So how is Destiny1 these days, do it still hold up?.. Is it worth it playing the story from start to finish solo?.

its almost certain at this point that Bungie executives wanted to ditch Destiny despite its popularity, now Marathon is going to fail and they can stew in their own shit for all I care

Fuck them. They had an enjoyable product at one point and proceeded to turn it into shit, they can reap what they sowed. I wonder how much longer will D2 go on for, maybe Sony will decide to take over or shut it down?
