I can't remember if he explicitly confirmed it, but I know there was a point where people were commenting that he was handing out "like" stickers and the next show he did had a "sticker shock" joke.

There was never a show clip relevant to verification AFAIK; alls I did was make fun of how @ItsAaronIgnoreMe's visible login activity had been matching Aaron's show schedule so neatly that it's hard to imagine how it could be a coincidence, even though theoretically anyone prone to watching the thread that frequently (up to and including Nick himself) could easily mimic that pattern on purpose. Combining that, some semi-confirmation that BBN vagueposted back in the day IIRC, the particular subject matter of what @ItsAaronIgnoreMe selects to post about or at least hang like stickers onto, and what admins are now pulling up as far as IP addresses etc., it's pretty much a 99.99% open secret at this point.

Why Aaron wouldn't just send a simple email or DM to staff for the blue checkmark is anyone's guess, but it was presumably because casting reasonable doubt on an essential element of his felony charge wouldn't exactly be helped by so overtly casting his lot with the Balldo Bunker's most vociferous serial harassers and running the risk of being cross-examined about it.

Even with that legal risk now abated the same excuse could apply to the oft-threatened civil lolsuit coming down the pike, but I'd guess that another factor all along has been that he just plain has fun with being an ambiguous tease about it, hearkening back to the old days when he joked about looking up at the camera during KCSO interrogation about "what Kiwi Farms is" and pondering whether it's a "Fight Club thing" that he's "not supposed to talk about" as though KF might have been some shady hacker collective watching him live on a cop camera. Relax, Aaron, nobody takes a humble gossip site along the lines of TMZumock on steroids quite so seriously.

While editing Melton clips, I reached the conclusion that he speaks so slowly and with such long pauses because it's the only way that his mentally challenged fans (Aaron alogs) can perceive information.

The vibe I get from Melton and his amazingly retarded 'fans' is that it's a gathering of the bullied loser kids when they were in middle and high school. Their formative years were a social disaster with normal kids constantly rejecting and avoiding them. In someone like Aaron, they see the dumb jock who gave them wet willies and shoved them in lockers; and just like their school years, when the dumb jock looks their way that one time or gives them a crumb of attention, they imagine their ideal scenario in their heads with the likes of 'omg he just watched me, he's soooo obsessed with me, look at the coping'.

They can't jump in a DeLorean and undo the torment they got as teenagers, so that latent hate bubbles up towards the modern-day dumb jock and manifests into something akin to the Two Minutes Hate from Orwell's 1984.

I agree with @Mr.Bucket that nothing will happen with this, sadly. I suspect Minnesota PD kicking this up to the feds is a sign they are taking it less seriously (because they don't want to deal with it) rather than more seriously (because the crimes are so serious and interstate etc.). Nick has and will continue to get away scott free with the bare minimum consequences from the justice (sic) system simply because nothing ever happens. I would love to be wrong, but I just can't imagine the feds suddenly come knocking at Nick's house over this issue. (Feel free to quote this if it actually happens.)

I'd be cackling like a crazy wine aunt if he got perp walked and even got 1 month in county jail let alone years in fed prison.

But he was born with a silver spoon and never has had to face the real consequences of his actions up to this point.

I'm just trying to not get my hopes up since he's still free after all the shit he was arrested for last year and still going on drug and alcohol benders and bragging about it.
