Very funny and weird, your post inspired me to make this video:
Rekieta's Homeschool Sex Ed
You know, once upon a time I unironically was ready to believe that all of Nick's infamous lamentations about his parents not having been more open about their sex life just had to mean something so mundane as the best case scenario where he and Bob were grown adults chilling on the front porch for man-to-man locker room talk over scotch and cigars away from the women and children on a holiday weekend, at which point Nick finally leveled with Bob about how he and Kayla had gotten bored with each other and were looking for ways to "spice things up," followed by Bob finally leveling with Nick about how he and Celeste were once stuck in the same conundrum and solved it by quietly swinging for decades up to and including repeated trips to Hedonism II, and his sage advice was that Nick and Kayla should try it out as a last-ditch effort to cure their marital woes. Then, when Nick did exactly that and experienced every fleeting dopamine rush that he mischaracterizes as "fun" or "joy" or whatever, he then lamented how he simply wished his parents had clued him in about "the lifestyle" earlier, because if they had, he would have been able to enjoy whatever benefits he saw in it for that many more years of his short life.
I was genuinely ready to believe in that best case scenario, but instead, now, his choice this week to go out of his way to defend April's utterly insane tweets can leave no choice but to expect that the NC-17 edition of "sex ed" has been going on in that household and he wishes his parents had done him the same courtesy. Why the fuck else wouldn't he have immediately kicked her to the curb for tweeting that shit with a straight face?
