His usual sperging and getting angry over nothing (i mean, Two and a half men is too "mean spirited"? does he not get it?) aside, i gotta give him applause for once not talking about Steven Universe/cartoons/kid's shows. Though I feel he stole too much from Brad Jones...
Where to begin with this? Well he's not reviewing cartoons, which is a nice change, I guess. And yet, it still comes off as overly spergy and rambly. Then he includes stuff like Henry Danger and Hannah Montana with shit no one probably knows of like Oops or Cavemen (assuming they haven't watched the DVD-R Hell episode). And even goes for the lowest hanging fruit of them all next to Big Bang Theory- 2 and a Half Men. It really feels he only skimmed a list of sitcoms, watched one-2 episodes and based his opinions on them. Hell, does he realize that Heil Honey's just a pilot episode?https://youtube.com/watch?v=BJQpFfH-8Dc

I'm actually surprised that people are still making him relevant. All I knew about Fred was just some extremely old news about nigahiga passing Fred in terms of YouTube subscribers and that's about it. That and three Fred movies, and they are pretty old to the point I actually forgot about him until someone brought him up.And of course Fred is his no. 1. Why is that not surprising? Oh, right.
Agreed, idk what's going on with him but his videos just aren't funny anymore. I guess he just ran out of ideas or something. On another note, JonTron has really gone downhill nowadays. There, I said it.

Eh it was alright, but could've done better. The Skateboard Kid review was great.
That one is actually pretty good, I'll give you that.Dark Dungeons was good, more informative than anything.
Honestly, I don't really like this one. Having the joke very similar to Vinesauce Joel's reaction to Jungle Book NES Bootleg is pretty meh and some of them are already done before and beaten to death (such as the Elsa Frozen Surgery and Snow White and 7 Clever Boys, with latter already done by Caddicarus with his "Back to Menu" joke already repeated but much more abused). The Disney Bootlegs was fantastic.
To be honest I think Jon is doing just fine. And I like that he's now branching out from the typical video game reviewing stuff that's super common on Youtube and now focusing on weird films and bootlegs and such. It helps bring to light the crazy schlock that no one's heard about before.
Who's to say he doesn't do that off camera?I kinda have the feeling that Strider is somewhat similar to Linkara, in that they patronize and have moralistic attitudes and chastise everything that's immoral, but I'm pretty sure he has a few skeletons in his closet.jerks off to Steven Universe pron maybe
And he seems sorta a faux-feminist/SJW just to get asspats from people. He's one step away from saying shows are satanic and turning our kids violent and into witchcraft.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: How Jon came to be in this thread is questionable, at best. He's not angry or even "angry," more permanently befuddled and awed by the things he covers. The beauty of what Jon does is that he can literally do anything. He can just do weird sketches, he can review whatever, he's not beholden to some retro-gamer ethos or whatever bullshit.
However, the only online reviewers that I actually found to be insightful would be Red Letter Media (If they went to film school or something of the sort, I'd believe it) and sometimes YMS.
Then again, I've only recently started watching online reviewers again.
