I am troubled by the things around me, sure. Sometimes it even gets me down. I still choose to be happy at the end of it all. No one can take that from me. Life is about choices. Maybe you need to switch yours up if you're so glum. Take some time off, go camping, read a book in the woods. Happiness is up to you man.

I'm not sure you can choose to be happy though, it's a feeling that happens organically. If you are not happy then there is probably a reason for it. I'm glad nobody can take your happiness away from you though.

Mayhaps you just feel sad and there is nothing that can fix that

Again though the environment we live in changes us more than you think. An old incel theory:

It's not easy, but you can do it. It takes a conscious effort though. It doesn't mean you're going to be happy all the time, but you can find inner peace if you really, truly want it. Find something to do. I already suggested camping. You can always pick up a hobby too. Build some model kits. Learn to work on a car. Try writing a book. Do something that makes you feel like you're achieving something.

Don't worry so much. Focus on what you can do rather than big socioeconomic, demographic, etc. factors that you can't do anything about. That shit will only make you feel powerless, and it does as much good as being bitter that you can't control tomorrow's weather.

But you do have agency over your own life. Quit that shitty job, move somewhere else. You are in charge of what you do, even if you're limited by things like money.

I would like to but the feeling of being trapped never goes away. I can try and achieve something today but tomorrow it's back to the daily grind that will continue for decades more. The suicide rate is climbing still. There is clearly an external pressure causing people to become a 'death of despair' as it's now called due to censorship. You have some rare positive advice but to a lot of people the idea of feeling happy by doing an activity is very alien.

That that is some good shit, this stuff needs to be printed out and hidden in a pot in a cave so that one day people can see what the apostles of inceldom wrote about the creatures that we let out of Pandora's box. It's funny that no matter how much people hate incels and MGTOWs their little nuggets of truth about women have become basic facts that the entire internet now throws around, even feminists like Josh.

You could sum up a lot of their writings by this meme:

And yes this version must of been censored so that the algorithms couldn't detect the word fuck but I think it adds to the absolute pandemonium of this hell we are in.

That feeling doesn't go away- at the start. If you give up on a project, you're back to square one. You do have to put effort in, there's no silver bullet to fix depression man. You just have to tackle it one day at a time. You can start with something small. Try watching a movie you've had sitting on your shelf that you've had forever but just haven't. Work your way from there.

Incels can't help incels, twink aficionado

I love how the people who tell others off for being 'trad right wing' also insist the only way to get out of things is to be trad and silently work yourself to the bone on the prayer that a woman will notice you.

Are you anti-trad or not?

That's called being normal, and you should stop dramatizing it by describing it as "trad" and "working yourself to the bone". Just be normal and social and eventually you'll click with a woman.

Well yeah. They're either lead, brass, steel or copper depending.
silently work for yourself
Fixed it for you. Trads want you to be a plow horse for a world they would gladly remove you from after helping them build it. In this time where no one cares about a guy's happiness you have been given the greatest gift of making it want you want it to be. Do things for you and no one else.

Yep. KYS is always an easy ticket out of the supposed misery-death spiral of "working myself to the bone for the goymachine" that mopers on the Internet portray normal, well adjusted life as.

But then they wouldn't be able to whinge.

You absolutely choose to be happy. You need to just learn what really makes you happy and stop expecting so much.

If "normal, well-adjusted life" is indeed the alienated hellscape it seems for anyone 'striving', then their discontent should be expected (not a personal complaint, I'm a lucky bastard re:employment).

If a dude (or woman) working on their career & struggling to pay for housing gets jack for it socially and exists as an atomized individual being told to pull themselves to "happiness" by their bootstraps due to absent conditions for organic contentment (please note that I am not referring to happiness in a purely hedonistic sense), yeah, I'm not going to call them brave for drinking themselves to death or blowing their brains out and traumatizing everyone around them, but I'm not going to be surprised either.

I do regard this video as quite excellent, if only because the creator calls out the insanity of the "women are amazin'..."-effect.

One can only hope that women will get forcibly dragged down to their just position in society soon enough, rather than being obnoxiously put on the piedestal they're currently being propped up on.

At this point in time, I do cheer on incels over any other group with an axe to grind in the "women vs. men"-debate.

The insanity needs to end.
