My understanding is that this basically is saying this judge wants both parties to meet and discuss motions before submitting them, specifically dismissal, summary judgment, jury instructions, and motions for extension of deadlines (which is also bolded to say these will not be viewed favorably). It sounds like the judge wants both parties to be on the same page so this isn't dragged out like how greer acts surprised Hardin files something, and then he wants to respond, then Hardin responds, then Greer wants to respond to his response.
In short, the judge might have done a quick look at Pat's legal bullshit and thinks he asks his lawyers to drag shit out. Or that he will do so himself if he has to go it alone (IE his amortization which was a complete stall tactic)
