First episode of Generations is out. Though it kinda seems more like an intro to the series overall.

So its going from Ash's Adventures in losing to Ash's tropical and wacky school days in losing.
I've heard that they're making changes to try to win back the kid audience they lost to Yo-kai Watch. A bit sad that Pokemon, of all things, has to resort to ripping off something more popular.

It looks like the same style animation from the original Digimon movies/Summer Wars.

EDIT: Generations episode 2 is up as well.

From the looks of it. Who's willing to bet that they'll be showing him flunking his classes too?

And the art style's off putting, to say the least. Not sure why'd they need a complete overhaul when it's been barely three years since the last one.

Looks like the Pokemon anime went to a new animation studio too. It's...different.

Nah, this still looks like the original animation studio. Maybe a different team within it though.

Just when I thought Berserk 16 ceased to be able to infuriate me, their take on Griffith's reincarnation happens.

Who in their right mind thought that backing a human with otherworldly beauty rising gracefully off the ground with fucking guitar riffs was a good idea?

I think I'm going to take another crack at reading the Evangelion manga. You know, the tie-in that started when the show began and only finished a couple of years ago. It's just, I dunno, I kinda wanna revisit the show since I really loved it back in my late teens. I've been feeling nostalgic for it lately, but I've heard good things about the manga when it gets going (I had trouble getting through the retellings of the first couple of episodes. Lost interest and dropped). Not touching Rebuild again until 4 comes out (haven't watched 3), I just want to finish the rest in one go.

I read the Manga before I watched the Anime, and tbh it's basically just a straight-forward adaptation of the Anime but with a few tweaks to the story.

Read it if you want but you're probably better off just rewatching the Anime.

So while this is not exactly an anime(it's a fake OP for a show idea someone had), it's well done enough I figured it deserves a mention.
