All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

(Note- The title will change as we get nearer the election, previous titles will be archived in the OP)

tbh if both candidates somehow had a medical issue and died or incapacitated somehow, I wouldn't be surpised at this point with how nuts this election has been

Why does their health matter that much? Neither of them seem sickly enough to kneel over and bite the bullet withing the next 4 years (Bill aside). Besides, Kennedy, one of the most highly upheld presidents, was rather sickly.

There are plenty of reasons why Clinton is shit, but her health isn't one of the key issues there.

Though it would make my day if she had a seizure during a debate or something

lol imagine both of them having a seizure at the same time in the middle of the debate and their flailing being interpreted as some kind of hardline stance on some issue or whatever.

Well apart from the Doctor aide that is carrying the supposed diazepam injector with him at all times, and apparently she needed 3 guys to help her up some slippery steps everyone else seems to be fine with. Wouldn't you want to know if the President might have a seizure choke on their own vomit or knock themselves out in the shower? I'm pretty sure I would. But, hey maybe I'm too invested in the leader of the free world. (Bit of a joke calling it leader of the free world these days though)

Was she just tripping during this speech too?

There are plenty of other issues but to deny the fact that the lady who had a blood clot in her head that was close to leading to a stroke and put her out of commission for 6 months seems disingenuous to me.

Being the president is a very stressful job, and if she is having trouble just running the election campaign, she'll have even more if she takes office.

I don't think it's just coincidence that there's several pictures of her appearing unable to stand on her own or tripping.

She didn't release her full medical records yet, her life long doctor said "yeah she's pretty ok" which is the same thing Trump's did.

And besides, I like bringing up the issue that Huffington Post thinks is worth deleting off their site.
You say that like it's a bad thing. If you weren't given anything but awful choices, death or catastrophic illness during the term might be a good thing if you despise everyone running.

The dude served four terms and is considered on the the greatest of all times. So idk it's not that big of a deal. You should get over it.

If Trump bailed, and somehow they could replace him on the ballots, I would be greatful for fucking Kasich. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have made me miss goddamn Kasich of all people. Fuck it, if you gave me a version of Sanders with a whole-life ethic, I'd be OK with that.

Instead we have a damn good politician (that is damning praise) and a fucking buffoon that thinks we must all have Alzheimer's. The fact my moral reservations prevents me from willingly voting, let alone supporting, any of the big 4 fuckers running is depressing.

If Trump loses the election (and I believe he will,) either Kasich or someone like him will be their guy for 2020. I too cannot wait for moderates on both sides to come back. This election really is showing us what happens if the far-right or the far-left if given a pedestal to speak on.

To paraphrase someone in the DNC email thread, it's like having to choose between a bomb and a giant dog turd.

By all appearances, Clinton is a moderate. The issue is that she's unbelievably fucking sleazy in a time when people desperately hoped for something else.

At least a turd won't kill you.

Perhaps I misspoke. Hillary is indeed a moderate, but she's actively courting radicals and extremists, genuinely dangerous people. Trump, who I don't think is personally an extremist, is doing the same thing, just even more so. The problem with Trump is really giving fuckwads like David Duke a chance to speak, which I think is worse than Hillary's rap sheet.

The HuffPo writer fired for talking about Hillary's health has been hired by Alex Jones presumably to write for Info Wars.

Is Clinton really far left though? I thought she was not left enough, which is why I was disappointed in her nomination.

Remember how big a deal McCain's age was made by the media and people online? There are people obsessed with this stuff it seems.
Considering McCain is still alive...

He would have won that election easily if it weren't for Sarah Palin. I'm liberal as fuck but I'm also a veteran, and Palin is literally what put the kibosh on that.

I'll vote for the war hero, unless he's running with a retard as his VP

"I like McCain but this Palin bitch is fucking stupid" was heard more than a few times in Iraq

Nah. Practically she's just a centrist neo-liberal with a somewhat feminist bent when convenient. That's all she is on the outside. On the inside she's Nixon 2.0, but not a far left operator. That's just an invention republicans have been obsessing over for the last 20 years.
